Calm and peaceful view from the family hut and fresh fish fries and curries along with toddy makes the day. Food is great especially rabbit and prawns. I haven't tried fish so no take on that.
The only problem is during holidays/weekends it will be crowded and to get a family room you have to wait for quite a long period.

Great local food ! Don't expect high hygiene and quality foods ! It's a typical fast food restaurant selling food and palm alcohol. Recommended to go as a group due to local people! Parrota+ any fish + beef where really good !

We came here looking for some good old toddy and eat spicy food but turns out they only serve the food here. So yes, it is family and teetotaller friendly.

Food was excellent and well priced. We loved their fish fry and also the beef roast.

It's a nice place for a Homely Food taste... Ambience is not much satisfied when compare to other dine ins.. But when we look it as a Toddy shop one the nice customer friendly shop. UPI payments are accepted from a short while. Enjoyed the food. It's ok to be there with family. They have also constructed some hut like stations too for enjoying the food in the private room.. The overall experience was good. Giving 4 stars cuz the dishes are bit over priced. Especially fish items.... Must have a visit and enjoy the taste.💝✨

Liked the taste of food, but the quantity was not upto the mark when ordered Prawns. I ordered Kappa, Appam, Fish curry & Prawns. While entering the shap they allow us to check and choose the fish for frying, it was good. Also it was too hot inside the Shap which partially ruined the atmosphere, though the fans were working. The service was not so satisfying.

This restaurant is for seafood lovers ❤

Nice evening vibe with good authentic kerala food. Lots of fish varieties and non veg options available. Veg options vere few. Fresh sweet toddy also is served along with food.

Tasty food, friendly people, never gets toddy here. The toddy shop is just opposite to this hotel. So here we could enjoy food time with family.Enjoyed Appam, duck curry, Tapioca,kakka fry and fish curry. The camel was so funny for the childrens👍

Amazing experience. Ate a lot more than usual. Really spicy and hooking. Planning on visiting there more. They invite one of you to the kitchen to choose the fish we wish to deep fry and rate the dish as per the weight of the fish. Infrastructure is basic. But the cuisine is ...Chef's kiss.. Ordered a lot more than whats shown in the picture. Couldn't wait to click the others in midst or ravaging through the dishes

A diverse selection of fish dishes alongside options for chicken, pork, and beef. While the ambiance was average, the focus here is clearly on the fish spread.

Fresh big fishes and variety of meat items served deliciously. Good service, ample car parking space. Can visit and eat out with whole family. Will visit again.

One of the best place to crash for some amazing nadan dishes especially their fish fry and rabbit roast. Me and my friend tried few dishes like Nemeen Thala Curry, Rabbit Roast, Paara Fish fry n Kappa. Everything was excellent ..their pricing is also reasonable. They have separate cabin and building for families.

Punjankiri toddy shop is know among Trivandrum people since ages. There was a time they used to serve the best kallu(toddy) and the sexiest food, which was dead spicey. Now they stopped the toddy and only serving food. It is good for hanging out with friends as well as family. The food items are freshly prepared and tastes divine. The duck roast is a must try. Also the seafood selection is really good. We had the fish fries only. They serve crab roast(seasonally) and kanava(squid) and oysters and mussels depending on availablity. They price is also affordable.

Located 8 kms from Trivandrum central and near the beautiful vellayani lake..They have separate family rooms for food..Toddy was good and the food is extraordinary..Tried karimeen fry,prawns,Appam ..All of them were very tasty..one if the best in Trivandrum.. Affordable price as well
