Crocodile Breeding Park

I didn't spot any crocodile on my first visit. But this time i saw 1 crocodile. According to the locals, crocodiles can be easily seen in the morning. Soo try to visit this place in morning. There is no parking space, you have to park your vehicle outside. Overall i liked this place.

The centre comprises a wild pond that is used to rear Indian Mugger crocodiles (Crocodylus pallustris).The Bhor Saidan Crocodile Breeding Centre is located 22 km from Kurukshetra and 13 km from Thanesar at Bhor Saidan village , also spelled as Bhour Saidan or Bhoor Saiydan, on the Kurukshetra-Pehowa road near Bhureeshwar Temple, one of the pilgrimage sites in Kurukshetra in the Indian state of Haryana.The Mugger crocodiles are believed to have been brought by one of the Mahants of the nearby temples in the 1930s. In 1980, Forests Department, Haryana took over the breeding centre and the Bhor Saidan village panchayat gave 15+ acre land to the Government of Haryana to start the breeding centre. Periphery has been fenced and a mound inside the pond was created to watch the crocodiles from the close range.

I found it better than the zoo, reason is it was specifically for crocodiles and the information provided by the rangers and the maintainers team was clear and specific.
If you visit there make sure you talk to the staff.

You can see many crocodiles inside and outside lake. Secure place with fencing.

Great experience for kids, govt must add some view screen.

Good tourist places.. free entry ...bt best if you visiting here in winter season...

It can be viewed from the premises of an old temple situated on the shore of a pond and on the bypass which is going to Pehowa dham. And one can see huge bats screeching and playing on the tree on the other side of the pond. This temple comes on your right when going from Kurukshetra to Pehowa Dham.

Born nearby place, it was best my best experience over there. And if someone want the best experience then visit in winters

Winters noon (Aug to March, 11 am to 4 pm) is the best time to visit, as crocodiles comes out in large numbers for the sunlight

Great place to see so many crocodiles

Wonderful experience, nice place, there is large no of crocodiles, and most interesting thing is that this place near to the great city kurukshetra and you can explore your this city, Here you can see Shri कृष्ण सग्राल्य, Bharamshrover, KURUKSHETRA University, and many other things. You can visit it, but nothing much to do, except see crocodile lazing in sun, better option go to Pipli zoo and enjoy it much better

Owned by the Govt., situated next to Bhurishrva Tirth, between Pehowa & Kurukshetra, on the National Highway, this place is full of warning safety signs . Crocodile Breeding Pond is covered by the green metallic net walls & through this net, the crocodiles can be seen at a distance or at a nearby place depending on one's luck.

First time in my life I saw crocodiles.I just wish I would have been closer than that.
It's great to keep people away from them but still wish to see them from a place nearer.

Best religious place. The Mahant & the people are very helpful. When We
visited this place (twice) We enjoiyed crcodile floting. I personally THANK THEM
THAT THERE IS FREE FASILITY TO COOK FOOD & even they provide pots too.
