If you're passing through and it happens to be around lunch time then you're in luck. The seafood lunch will just blow your mind away. All you need to do is to find a shady spot to park on the slightly narrow road and you're good to fill up.
Served hot on a plantain leaf the fresh catch is just the perfect treat before you get back on the highway. Run by a family you can taste the love that's gone into making it so delicious. Absolutely amazing.

Had Lunch from here multiple times in a week. The food was delicious. They serve good fish fries here. I had chempalli all the time. Service is good and has a peaceful ambience from the city. It's a good experience if you are interested in sea foods. They also serve river fishes and crab fries. Within limited seats I have not felt any waiting period outside. There is no air conditioning, the roof is just made naturally from coconut leaves. I recommend this place to families to get a exotic tastes of palakkad here.

One interesting thing I noted was that the kept a person's meals outside the courtyard for feeding birds as a ritual which I don't understand by any means. They have kept a beautiful garden here for the people to get fresh vibes. The external landscaping has been done well with Mexico grass and meadows.

The Malampuzha canal is on the left side of the Hut which is giving a good view too. This place is very much accessable as it is situated on the canal bund road besides Malampuzha irrigation main canal which crosses the NH 544 highway. Just 50m from NH 544.

Prices are little high but as a matter of fact the fishes served are way more expensive. Hence it can be considered as okish. Have a nice time guys!!

Small home run business with Amazing food. A fish lover should never miss an opportunity to eat here. Dishes to try - Silopi fry, Aavoli fry and Chemmeen roast.

Anna Hotel is one of the authentic Kerala cuisine serving restaurants in Palakkad in it actual ambience of a Kerala meddle class family home. They serve fresh fish and authentic fries. If you are on Thrissur Coimbatore highway, you should not miss this restaurant. Highly recommended though the price looks high. It worth for money….

The fish fry meals is just awesome. The place is run by a family serving authentic homely food. People travelling through Palakad kochin highway this is a great stop over for lunch. The places gets crowded quickly and seating is basic with benches n tables, all of which adds to the charm

Lunch place. Fish fry was so delicious and fresh. Owner said they bring fresh catch daily from Ponnani. this justifies the pricing

Good food with normal rate.
Had meals and Neymeen which costed me Rs 400. Also has other fishes.
For meals they provide 2 types of fish gravy. 1- Gravy made using coconut and other gravy without coconut.

One of the best places for meals in Palakkad. Nalla naadan oonu/shaapad. Consistent with quality and taste and the highlight of it all, is the brilliant fish that you get along. No hype, no super amazing ambience...but the taste; that's worth it always.

I am personally satisfied with their food and services. Price little higher but when the taste was so good.

Very good tasty homely meals and fish fry, it's actually not a hotel they had made an extension to the home and providing homely food. Not so easy to spot from the highway, only one board showing direction available in the highway side. But the food is tasty and very cheap

Hotel Anna is the best place in Palakkad for seafood. Served with home cooked love, the Ayakura, Prawns and other fried Fish as well as the dishes that come along with the rice are mouth watering. Fill your stomach at reasonable rates.

Though the ambience of the hotel is not good, the five ratings is for the homely delicious food with fresh fish dishes. Gets multiple varieties of fish fry. Chemeen(Prawns) is my evertime choice in this hotel.

Place ia good for lunch time food. Not known from the main roads. Need to b careful to find this hotel. Enough seating provided. The placce is lil inside from the roads. Good for fish dishes and kerala meals. Dishes are lil expensive, so one have to take care while ordering the dishes that u like to have
