A beautiful place amidst nature, perfect for your small getaway.
Everything good from service to hospitality, a bit secluded and hard to get by if this is your first time visiting Majuli but the serene beauty and the cool owner makes up for it.
You need to pre order your meals as they prepare according to that.
Overall it was a great experience.

Such a beautiful and serene property. Our amazing host arranged a sunrise and birdwatching boat ride for us early morning. The food was amazing. Piku, their in-house puppy was such a delight. :)

I stayed here for two nights and the location is great. Rooms are clean and beautiful. Ricky helped us throughout my stay and made sure we were taken care of . He gave us his scooty to roam around the island as well. He manages the property here. He got nice food prepared for us based on our preferences.

Beautiful place in nature's lap. Just a small walk from Lohit river, this place is a dream come true for people looking for nice peaceful stay at Majuli. It is well maintained and clean overall. I liked the cottage we were in.

Clean rooms, many different cottage options. Could seal the gaps in the walls and floor though.
Good food.
Reasonable cost and good options for food.
Mosquito nets provided. Clean linen.
Overall a great place to stay.
Made with beautiful taste, the garden and seating outside is super.
Lots of birds visit the place, so if you love birds you will enjoy the place.
Clean and tidy bathroom, a geyser would be great.

Cons:
The bed with cotton filled mattress may feel hard to people accustomed to Kurl-on type mattresses.
A hot water kettle can be kept as an option, maybe in the dining area itself.

Nice and comfortable stay with most of the basic ammenities. Staff are very much helpful. Food is nicely prepared, served hot. Most importantly amidst the nature. Spend some quality time after a long gap. Special Thanks for allowing my pet during our stay in Okegiga. Thanks Team Okegiga

Good break from city life . It is a pet friendly resort . So bring your dogs and they will have a time of their life . Loved my stay there . Please dont expect much as its a cottage stay in a secluded place , you wont get any luxury .but if you want to stay amidst nature . Take walks through road, sit on grass and enjoy the silence ,this is your place . We also met good people on our trip , it was good to chat and listen to their stories .

Beautiful place to stay with relaxing ambience.

Okegiga is a lovely place. If you are for the green around, feel the pristine air and experience the calmness then its a perfect place. The huts are a perfect balance of ethnic accommodation with bare essentials of our present day requirements (please don't expect a Wi-Fi or pizza!). Food is good and hospitality is at par excellence. Deep Da, the owner, a special thanks for accommodating almost all our requests and sharing his experiences on adventure trips.

There is a lot to explore around the place. The woods just behind the huts, a walk in the nearby village will reveal a lot about the crafts, the sunset and sunrise on the river flowing behind, the thumping sound of the rain on the tin roofs and bamboo walls (only if you are lucky enough to experience the rain) and a lot more.

It was really a pleasure experiencing the place. May be I can call it an Eden !.

A beautiful vacation spot located not far away from Garmur Satra. The ambiance and open space is what separates Okegiga Homes from the rest of homestays in Majuli.

I wish I could give it 7 stars out of 5. What a lovely cottages with clean washrooms. Very simple and natural, nothing shiny. Staff is very helpful, go beyond their assigned duties to help you. Food here was amazing. Stay costs only 1200 a night.

The place is awesome. It's simple, beautiful and peaceful at the same time. There were bamboo houses and tents. I took the tent and it did not disappoint me. Spacious and warm. Every unit has a machaan to sit on and spend your time with your friends and family. The staff were especially good, warm and friendly.

It's an amazing place adjacent to a river. The owner Deep has made sure that guests have a comfortable stay. The tents were clean with an attached bathroom. The food served was tasty and hygienic. Overall a great place to be in Majuli

Simple but nice bamboo houses close to the nature. It's a bit further from the city but around 30 minutes it is possible to het there. The owner was very nice and I've really enjoyed my stay there. There were lots of fireflies.

You actually get the homely feel here. Awesome hospitality, super tasty food and the peaceful sorrounding makes it a great place to stay. Beautifully built up. Recommended for travellers who want to feel the nature rather than air conditioned rooms and beds.

Very homely experience. We had a very comfortable stay. Thr owner is an inspiring entrepreneur and the staff are friendly and resourceful. Best place for a refreshing holiday.

A quiet place for those who seek peace of mind and love the serene beauty of nature.
Surrounded by a lovely forest and the beautiful luit river, one can enjoy the swimming in luit river and go for trekking in the lush greenery and cultivated fields near Okegiga homes. Do yoga in the river bank, have some green tea at Okegiga, relax, read a book, have some appong, enjoy the healthy and tasty food, spend the night in the bamboo huts or on the swiss tents whichever you prefer, but do give them a visit. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
P.S. Don't litter as the people there tend to keep it clean and green.

Nice and pleasant stay in majuli. They prepare and give u nice food too. U can rent scooty to roam around majuli at 500 per day. he puts pleasant music in the evening . He has a dog called peku which is so active. You can see satras here (it may take u around 3 to 4 hours). There is a mask making place at samaguri satra which u dont miss. We bought some masks too.
