On my trip to Manali, I visited the Vashisht Temple, and it was a truly unique experience. Here’s what makes this place special:

History: Vashisht Temple is named after Sage Vashisht, one of the seven sages of Hindu mythology. It's said to be thousands of years old! The temple is made of beautiful stone and wood carvings that tell stories from the past.

Importance: This temple is very important because it's believed to be the place where Sage Vashisht lived and meditated. It's a spiritual site for many people who come here to pray and find peace.

Food: Around the temple area, there are many small shops and cafes where you can try local Himachali cuisine. The food is simple, but really tasty and gives you a flavor of the local culture.

Trekking: While the temple itself is not a trekking site, it’s the starting point for several treks, including the one to Jogini Falls. The walk is beautiful, with lots of nature to see along the way.

Traveling Distance: Vashisht Temple is just about 3 kilometers away from the main town of Manali or Manali Bus Stand or Mall Road. You can easily get there by a short taxi ride or even walk if you're up for a little adventure. I did the last.

Why Famous: The temple is famous for its Hot 🔥 springs. There are separate bathing areas for men and women, and the water is believed to have healing properties. I stay nearby Temple and I started my day with bathing in Hot Spring. It's a unique experience you shouldn’t miss!

Why Visit: You should visit Vashisht Temple to experience a piece of ancient Indian culture and enjoy the natural hot springs. It's a place that combines spirituality, history, and natural beauty.

Nearby Places: After visiting the temple, you can explore the village of Vashisht, which has lots of shops selling handmade crafts. The Jogini Falls trek is also nearby and makes for a great day trip.

In conclusion, Vashisht Temple is not just a religious site; it's a place where you can learn about history, enjoy local food, relax in hot springs, and even start a trekking adventure. It’s a must-visit when you’re in Manali!

You need hike a 50ft from the parking area to reach the temple. The Temple is small and cozy with no much crowd. Enjoy the hot water springs there, for a bath or any other. They have the separate sections for hot water bathes for men and woman.
