The place is full of adventure, greenery, and some where tracking is also available, which makes the place more natural. Nearby Govind Sagar Dam, I also found a small jungle where domastic animals like cows and buffaloes are grazing.

Beautiful place to visit !!! But don't expect too much of it as the local government as well as upper government is least concerned about the beautification of the Dam.At winters you may site many migratory Birds.

I would say this is the one of the main tourist destination of Lalitpur along with ofcourse Magnificent Devgarh Temple , Muchkund Cave , Tuvan Mandir etc . This Dam is build on Shahzad River mainly for irrigation and drinking water purpose for lalitpur . This dam is one of three dams in India which have colonial period's siphon system in it .
