Awesome experience with family during 10 days festival which will happen from July 26 to Aug 5. Especially this year it was very grand due to gold car festivals which used to happen every 10 years once.

You will find more peace in the presence of madha and nearby you have muthu nagar beach where you can spend time with kids.

Its a very historical church for Christians. The Holy Statue of Our Lady of Snows as it is known holds a very special place in the hearts of each and every person in Tuticorin. The historic past of the statute and the old stories associated to it is part of local folklore and is admirey highly by one and all. People irrespectiveof any faith visits the holy cathedral and speciallly to the annual feast held in August and attract thousands of followers local and international. This temple is located near Muthunagar Beach in the calm and peaceful location and divine pull is there. Its one of the old churches in Tuticorin. It is well built and located in the heart of the city. The architecture is so good that you will find in very rare Churches and you will feel the history of the place.The place is easily reachable and has a good parking place. In August the biggest festivals in Thoothukudi is celebrated named madha kovil festival. People from all the religion will be participating in it. In the night the church gives a beautiful look and was graceful. Not only Christians, but people who love art and architecture will enjoy the church. Nearby you have the lot of restaurants for a quick dinner.

There is a shop inside church campus where you can buy blessed sacramentals like rosary, Word of God frames and other items. You can also book for Holy Mass here in advance if you want to dedicate it to your beloved ones or any other cause. In short this Church is one of the identites of this coastal town Thoothukudi.

Visited this Church during my friend's marriage and came to know that this is the oldest church of the city. It is really so well built and is located in the heart of the city. The architecture is very good and it gives a historic feel. Easily accessible by all and has a very good parking place.

Very nice and historical importance church in thoothkudi. First it was constructed during 15th century then it got renovated. Very quiet and serene atmosphere. So many devotees come here to visit this church.

Pretty old church. It has nice wooden ceiling. But cannot be be considered for historical visit coz new extension has stolen the olden charm.

The place has never seemed more beautiful and peaceful. The nice ambiance exudes a feel-good vibe, making it the best place for meditation. There are no religious restrictions in this place. Candles are available outside at an affordable price, but malai is not available here. If you need malai, please buy it at the bus stand.
