The Rani Mahal Jodhpur

I recently stayed at this charming hotel, and it truly exceeded my expectations. From the warm hospitality extended by Nisha, the owner, to the awe-inspiring beauty of the 450-year-old building, every moment was a delight. The proximity to Mehrangarh Fort made exploring easy, and the reasonable pricing made it even more appealing. The food was delicious, but what truly stood out was the exceptional friendliness and dedication of the staff and owner, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. Highly recommended!

The Rani Mahal in Jodhpur is a very special place. It is centrally situated. The interiors are beautiful and reflect a bygone era of handpainted details on the walls and ceilings with carved wooden doors and windows. On top of the hotel is a beautiful blue terrace reminiscent of the Blue city, with colorful flower pots and creepers, boasting stunning views of one of the oldest fords in India. But the owner Nisha is truly the hart and soul of this place. From eight in the morning till eleven at night she personally oversees every detail with the help of her daughter and very friendly staff. A true gem.

RANIMAHAL is a 450 year old mansion and it is located in Navchokia, the oldest area of ​​Jodhpur. It has much nicer rooms than the old mansion and the entire Blue City is visible from the rooftop. The staff is very good and the food is very good.

We had a wonderful time at Rani Mahal! Staff was very attentive and friendly. We attended the cookery course, which was held in English, took over two hours, and was super fun! We learnt a variety of new dishes from the experienced team and enjoyed them on the roof terrace with a stunning view of the Jodhpur Fort. Fully recommended for a stay in the blue city!

Nisha and her daughter know the true meaning of hospitality ♥🙏🏽♥ My husband and I departed this morning and we’ve just been overwhelmed by Nisha’s continuing support of our travels - we feel so loved. The Rani Mahal is a lively Haveli, with quiet rooms and comfy beds - must-haves for every traveller. Thank you Nisha and see you in a few weeks on our return for Holi festivities!! 😘😘😘

Absolutely fabulous stay.

The hotel is amazing and full of character being a near 500 year old building. The food and the staff were amazing and the owners were an absolute delight.

I visited Rani Mahal for lunch and it is an amazing property and the food is also delicious. Jain food was also delicious and too good.

Really pretty hotel. Clean and good rooms. Decent breakfast buffet. The only con i would say is the location. It's very close to meharangarh fort but not to many other places. If you're not up for walking a lot then you'll have to take an auto for everywhere. And they charge a bomb.

Also, cabs don't go to the hotel. There are very narrow roads so only an auto can fit it.

Other than that the stay was very comfortable and the staff is amazing.

Will recommend stay at this place for its location. You will have to take a rickshaw once you are near to this place to reach the reception as it is located right in the Old city - adjacent to the Blue City which is the main attraction of Jodhpur.

Got to know from the owner herself that this hotel was once part of the Mehernagar fort which is walking distance from here. We could also see the fort in moonlight from the rooftop restaurant of the hotel.

Rooms are done in the authentic palatial decor which gives you the feel of an actual Rani Mahal. Stay was comfortable and pleasant. Service is nice. Restaurant is vegetarian only but they allow liquor bought from outside.

Located in Nav chowkiya on one side of the fort. This sunset point is easily trekable at a distance of 1.5 kms or 15 mins from this place . This is a pure veg restaurant on roof top as well as downstairs. Rooms are uniquely designed for a heritage experience. Good view of fort from roop top restaurant. They serve beer on request

We had a fabulous stay here. The owner Nisha is lovely and was incredibly helpful recommending and organising sightseeing tours for us. The heritage building is beautiful with spectacular views of the fort. You do need to get a tuk tuk to get there as it’s in the old city and a car can’t get up the street but it’s well worth it.
We had some issues with the water pressure being an old building but the staff were very helpful and it worked out fine.
Would highly recommend staying here!

Ambience, Rooms and Construction : 10 out of 5. Difficult to describe in words. It is truly Herritage property. Each room has its own vibe. The construction is royal.

Location : 5/5..It is located at the heart of the city... You will feel the vibe of the blue city while staying here.

Owner and Staff : Nishaji, the owner is very humble, polite and friendly. Staff is very supportive.

Food : It has two restaurants - Rooftop and Ground Floor. Rooftop restaurant offers amazing view of Meharangarh Fort.

Planning to visit again soon !

The best looking restaurant I’ve seen in India, in an ancient pillared space but brought up to date with super chic interior design. Amazing food and rooftop terrace with a view of the fort; and the meal didn’t break the bank at all! Well priced for such stylish place. Would recommend and revisit!

Loved the stay. Located at a walkable distance to fort. The owner Smt Nisha Jain would go out of way to satisfy the requirements be it related to rooms or dining. She was very helpful. Even Mr Mukesh and other front office staff were helpful. The roof top restaurant beats it all. Although one or two waiters might not be upto the mark for serving food. If you don't eat chilli food please request in advance not to add chillies in advance.

The rooftop is my personal favourite here, it gives an amazing view of Mehrangarh and our lovely Jodhpur..
I surely want to visit again to celebrate our precious time .. and recommend people to give it a try.. 💕

Vintage haveli preserved for 400 years, one of its kind experience. The staff are the best I have met. Only downside is the location, cars can't get there since it's in the middle of the old town and have to rely on autorickshaws. But definitely recommended!
