Chanod Haveli

I really enjoyed my stay at this Haveli. The host is wonderful, the rooms and restored parts are beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious. The nearby park is really nice and I ate dinner at the owner’s cousin’s rooftop restaurant - Rawle - just 3 minutes away by foot. The restaurant had great views of the fort!

I also enjoyed the location, as you can meander through all the little lanes and get a real sense of daily life in Jodhpur. So many interesting shops and buildings, and there were many children after school wanting to practice English with me as I walked around. It’s also near the modern part of the city if you fancy restaurants outside the tourist areas. Highly recommend this place.

The owner his wife and daughter in law are marvelous hosts.Myvroom was recently modernised with a new bathroom and huge bedroom.The food is amazing fresh inventive vegetarian food.
The roof terrace has great views of the city.
Good conversation and all round great place to stay.

The rooms are very spacious and the property was so clean. Everything was landlords perfect advise allowed us to city .Humble and helpful staff. The owners treated are so nice and big heart.Breakfast was delicious and we were treated to lots of new food. A perfect homestay .

A perfect homestay to feel like a home in a vacation. The location is very good and at a walking distance from clock tower market if you are fine with walking upto a kilometer of distance. Clock tower, mehrangarh fort, jaswanth thada all are in close proximity of the property.

The room has nothing to envy of a 5-star hotel with the added privilege of being welcomed with great kindness by a wonderful family. Everything was perfect and the landlord's advice allowed us to visit the city in the best conditions. Chanod Haveli made our vacation in beautiful Jodhpur even more memorable.

Such an amazing stay at Chanod Haveli! Shailendra treated us like family and the room was so lovely. The haveli is incredible - especially the views from the terrace across the city. Breakfast was delicious and we were treated to lots of new food we hadn't tried before. The nicest place we have stayed in Rajasthan by a long way!

The property is really beautiful and gives you the authentic feel of Rajasthan. The rooms are very spacious and the whole property was very clean. The hosts are amazing they will help you with whatever help you need. The breakfast is included in the booking and they served us home cooked meal which was very tasty and comforting. They also got us mirchi vada for us so that we taste the authentic food of Jodhpur as well. Will definitely recommend this property

Our stay here was much memorable like other places in Jodhpur. Rooms have old haveli feeling and are very spacious, neat & clean. Hospitality of Shailendra sir and aunty is truly amazing. All food dishes were delicious and served with love. Even they helped me to courier things we shopped at Jodhpur.

Best place to stay in Jodhpur. The kind of culture you experience while staying here, you won't be getting even in 5 star hotels. The best part about this stay are the hosts. The home cooked meals were to die for. They even dropped us off at the railway station at 7 in the morning! They will treat you like your own family. Loved staying here so much!

This was indeed a memorable stay in Jodhpur. No words to describe the hosts, everything was just perfect. Home cooked breakfast that too by the land lady herself & sharing the recipe with our ladies - as if dining with our own relatives. The property itself is worth every penny & location is very close to the fort as we went walking & local shopping is close by. Will definitely recommend to others.

Amazing old haveli converted to Homestay nearest to railway station. Mr Shailendra Shingh is the owner of the haveli, and he is so polite and helpful. Rooms are huge and neat. Helper Jagdish is also very kind. We had breakfast all days during our stay, breakfast was so satisfying. We had wonderful dinner prepared by Mrs Rathore. And it was a Royal dinner we have experienced. Room tariff is also reasonable. Overall it was amazing 2 night stay at Jodhpur.

This place was one of the highlights of our Rajasthan trip.
Mr. and Mrs. Rathore are amazing hosts. Aunty's food was homely, yet delicious.
The rooms have a royal Haveli feel. They are big and very clean. 100/100 points to the Haveli experience.

Shailendra ji and his wife have created a beautiful space in this fort for guests. The architecture is amazing and the rooms are massive! The breakfast is delicious and they have multiple options every day. Shailendra ji has been very helpful throughout our stay and arranged transport for us on multiple occasions. A refreshing alternative for hotels!

It was through make my trip i got to know about this home stay at jodhpur. The ratings were really good so i decided to go for this but unfortunately i had to cancel this and go for another stay due to some emergency. It was then when i got the call of Mr.Shailendra Rathore and after interacting with him i felt that i am missing something precious so i decided to come back to this option again. Me and my wife reached this location quite early and we were greeted by the owner and one more staff there. This place is near to railway station and almost connects all major tourist hub of jodhpur. Along with that it is situated near to shopping area also so geographically i must say this is the best option to look for. Coming to the hospitality part i could sum up my feeling as it was home away from home and the owner treated us like his own kids. The interactions we had with the owner made him somewhere deep rooted into the list of good people i met. after staying here i must say ‘humanity pertains and good souls do exists’. The stay was spacious and very comfortable with a an additional benefit of a complementary breakfast. Night you can have a view of mehrangarh fort from the terrace of this haveli. Visit and stay at this place if you want a day to be embedded into your memories! You will never regret coming here and might find difficult to leave 😊! P.S. I am not a writer but few places and few people never fail to surprise us that mere words are not enough to describe them!

Had a great stay. The property is good with good rooms and hospitable staff and owner. There is a great focus on hospitality and they serve home cooked food. I would recommend it to all who are looking for an authentic rajasthani haveli experience. Even though it is in old city, it is well connected to Broad roads and has more than sufficient parking facility. Must visit!

The only regret I have about my stay here is that it was for only a day! True diamond in the rough. Don’t let the surroundings of the location misguide you about the superior quality of this haveli. The rooms are nice & sparkling clean. The hosts & staff are the most courteous and professional people. We felt like we were staying with family. Thinking about the delicious breakfast still makes my mouth water. The views of the city and the fort from the Terrace are stunning. Overall experience for our group of 8 was as good if not better than stays at most resorts. Thank you Uncle & Aunty for the exemplary stay! We will definitely return!

We were taken for a pleasant surprise when we visited Chanod Haveli. Its a beautiful Haveli, 130 year old. It is extremely well maintained and speckless. It has very large rooms. The rooms are more beautiful, than what you see in the pictures. The property is located in the heart of Jodhpur. All market placed are at a walking distance.

This review will not be complete without talking about our hosts Shailendraji and Meenakshiji. They are most amicable host I have ever met. Our stay was for 2 days. However, they left an everlasting impression. Not only did they guide us to plan our tour, they also helped us arrange for transport. They made us feel at home and took very good care of us.

We had the most delectable food at Chanod Haveli. The taste of Gatte Ki Sabji, Kachche Haldi ki sabji and Gajar ka Halwa will linger for long.

Jodhpur is a very traditional town, and we can experience both tradition and modernity at Chanod Haveli.

Nice home stay in Jodhpur city. It’s a family run home stay with such a nice people running it by putting lot of efforts.
Rooms were big and sparkling clean . Breakfast and dinner was very homely and served with so much of love.
I would say do not miss aunty home cooked dinner that was just awesome
