Puthur shri thirpuraikal temple is one of the ancient and powerful temples of shakthi in the whole of Malabar. Bhadrakali is the main deity worshipped here. This 100 year old temple which is located 2 km. away from the town of Palakkad is of much historical importance.

THOLPAVAKOOTHU The famous temple in Palakkad Puthur SREE THIRUPURAIKKAL TEMPLE. Here in Tholpavakoothu Garudapath is very famous. The puppet of Garuda with lamps and with ornaments the puppet ply to koothumadam from a baniyan tree.

One of most frequently visited place to recharge myself when I was at my native. Now that I have moved away I am unable to visit frequently, but when ever I am at my native, I do go there to recharge myself. The energy levels are very strong over there and you can feel the vibes.
