Sree Chinmaya Guruvayurappan Temple

This temple is located beside Victoria College, Palakkad. The idol here is of Lord Krishna. Very calm and peaceful atmosphere inside the temple. They have spacious parking area outside the temple. It was not crowded during my last visit. I felt so much positivity after getting inside the temple.

Well and cleanly maintained temple, very calm atmosphere a must visit place.

Really a Divine, Cool place in the middle of the town, where one can loose all difficulties of mind and return home with peace of mind.The Temple even though built in modern architectural style it has coolness, divinity and the pin drop silence atmosphere can take the person to a peaceful state of mind.

This place is so peaceful and relaxing.
Well maintained temple. Clean and neat surroundings. An arts college is also working under the management. All the major hindu festivals are celebrated here. During Vishu and Onam the place is mostly crowded. Good place to visit.

I cant add photos of it and I dont want to add photos of this place cos you should visit to feel the place. If you are an ardent fan of lord krishna, then you should not miss this place. Would definitely take 2-3 hours on an average day. There would be too much of rush. Only Hindu people can enter the temple. You cannot wear jeans and shirts. Men has to go with bare upper body. Men can wear mundu while going to temple. Women can wear sarees or salwar.

Had a nice, but too brief a darshan around 4.45 pm through the not very long senior citizen queue. When standing in the queue could have the darshan of Seeveli too when the utsava Moorthi was taken around the temple 3 times.

Guruvayoorappan temple. Quite and pleasant .. His smile is enough to cure your heart! Come and feel it ! words cannot explain....

Built and Maintained by Chinamaya Mission. Only one of its kind in Palakkad Town.
More than a Temple it's like a Bhajan Mandir.
Calm and peace atmosphere in the evening and morning. There will be spiritual lectures going on during most of the weekends.
Ample parking area is available in front. A seperate table for books and other products by Chinamaya Mission is available for purchase. The Sandal Prasada served here is original and all Pooja's are done as per rituals in good manner. Along with the temple there is a Chinamaya Mission Arts and commerce College.

Graceful with swami asheshanandaji, harmoniously maintained temple like in any other chinmaya mission ashram, divine presence of Lord Guruvayoorappan, devoted trustees and devotees all put together has certainly made it as a "Brindavan" .
