Awesome place near poonjar. Especially in the evening. No ticket fees. Parking space is not enough for car. Bike can be parked in side the gate also. Sunset time ideal. Will see the illilkal kallu from there.

Nice place with a lot of natural rocks with some greenery. Pleasant scene for our eyes, especially during the early morning and sunset. We can go and have some leisure time with family and friends sitting on the rocks. There is a small tea shop as well near the place. A calm and peaceful place with a lot of natural scenic Beauty.

What a beautiful spot!! O.M.G! Such scenic places are the true hidden gems of Kottayam district! I swear!

We Went here after a few people recommended it to me and it was a sight to see.. wow! The panoramic scenic beauty is an amazing sight and is very cosy!
There's a tiny shop on top called " Rock garden cool and coffee bar " and the staff are super friendly, it's well stocked with a lot of snacks and drinks!! We couldn't go inside the temple as it was closed. You can go around and around tiny hidden spots inside the long grass and trees also where you can just sit and enjoy some shade and chat. Never knew about this place till recently!
Apparently it's beautiful during sunset as well it seems, we went around 10.30 and it was very calm and not many people were around too.. it felt more like just the three of us..
People, if you are coming to Marmalla, Illickalkallu etc, THIS IS ANOTHER MUST VISIT PLACE! 😍

Offers amazing view almost 360 degree view. Best time would be evenings or mornings , it's a solid rock so other timings are not prefered. Beautiful sunset point. Has small cafe which provides hot beverages and snacks. Parking can be easily found on roadside.

Beautiful place . Fogs seems like clouds and we feel we are above them at early mornings.
Only around 6kms from village called Moonnilavu Near Erattupetta.

There is a temple on that rock. Didn't got any special attractions. Still a cool place to hang out.

Really beautiful place. We can enjoy the real beauty of nature. You have to go inside through the rocks and finally get into a simple beautiful temple of lord Ayyappa.
If you go further more far you will reach to amazing cool places which shows you the real beauty of nature.
This is a good place to take photos. If you are going there go in the morning or at the evening. Between 12 pm to 3 pm it is too much sunlight because there is huge rocks and no trees at the entrance.
