The Best park in Iringole. The park as the name suggests is around the Nagancheri Mana. You can see many excellent and scrupulously built sculptures which were made by brilliant craftsmen back in the old days when a sculpture-making fest was organized here. Although the authorities are trying their best to provide the best experience to the people coming here, they should give more emphasis on cleanliness too. Apart from that everything is just superb and the famous Iringole temple is very near to the park. Do visit both the place when you come to Iringole. Thank you.

A underrated picnic spot !! near to kuruppampady.
A heritage building/ mana is there.
According to care taker it is more than 800 years old including renovations.
Mana is not that big but preserved.

A children's park is also there.
Car parking , toilet, cafeteria facilities also there.

Not a crowded place , so calm to chill out with kids and family.

The Naganchery Mana located near Perumbavoor was once the royal residency of Naganchery family, the landlords of Iringole. The age old Iringole sacred grove, currently under the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB),is located close to the Mana, which is maintained by the Perumbavoor Municipality.

This 700 year old mana is constructed in traditional Kerala style architecture comprising elaborate wood works and carvings. Constructed in thatched roof style, it has a small nadumuttam, numerours small rooms and a kitchen. The magnificent giant pillars and small windows are made from teak and rosewood. Even during extreme temperatures outside, one can experience coolness inside the mana, thanks to the construction following Vasthu rules. During monsoons; water falling from the thatched roof to the courtyard is a nostalgic ad memorable sight. A well close to the kitchen and a holy pond nearby add to the traditional beauty.

The interiors are full of several sculptures and big pots and outside, there is a tall sculpture of man. The birds in the star forest with landscaping and tiled walkways are worth a watch. New playing equipment for children, food court, pavilion and utility centre have played a crucial role in attracting tourists.

Iringole Mana' or 'Nagancherry Mana' of Perumbavoor was one old janmi family of Kerala. 102-year-old Vasudevan Namboothiri, the current 'karanavar' of the 'mana'.From owning over 15,000 hectares of land in places ranging from Aluva to Thiruvananthapuram five decades ago, the 'karanavar' was forced to sell the 'mana' for a measly Rs 1 lakh to Perumbavoor municipality in 1980. The bedridden 'desadhikari' now lives with his younger son Ganapathy in a rented house, once owned by him, at Valakkara near Perumbavoor with not an inch of land to lay claim to...
