It's an ancient temple of goddess Sukrala,at a distance of 9.60 Kms from Billawar and about 75 Kms from Kathua. The Holy Shrine is believed to have been built by Madho Singh and exiled Prince of Chamba (Himachal Pardesh). It has an interesting story of how devi mata transformed a dead tree to newly flourished tree.

Food - Options are available easily.
Travelling time - Prefer early morning visit for hassle free Darshan.
Near by places - Mansar lake & Mini Goa.

Sukrala mata is a religious historic temple of hindus located near billawar. It is almost 100 kilometre away from Udhampur.. People can visit the beautiful temple by cars, buses, and minibuses.. The place is of clean, pleasing, fresh, pollution free and heartloving environment. People used to believe Mata Sukrala fufil the wishes of pilgrims, they have great faith 🙂🙂🕉🕉 religion

Holy religious place with natural beauty.. . It is situated on hill top near billawar.. takes approx 2 hour 15 min from pathankot. Road conditions are good. But via RSD dam road one has to come before 7 pm

It's our bad luck that the main temple was closed due to pandemic but still we were allowed to offer prayers and prasad to Maa Sukrala. The road are well maintained and scenic view throughout the journey makes you want to visit again and again.

It's an excellent temple and a such a huge temple a must visit for every one. Excellent, beyond imagination 👌. Must visit for everyone. Good , systematic arrangement. Excellent vibration & Divine blessing.

Mata ka Bhawan is situated on a top of hill. The way towards Bhawan is narrow but manageable with sensible driving. Parking facility is not very good rather I should say layout is nit there at all with no assistance apart from shop keepers who will invite you to park on front of there shop of course you need to buy parsad from them. Then there will be around hundred steep stairs to climb. If you have issues in walking or old enough to not able to carry your self then it will be a challenge. To overcome that one need Mata Rani's Blessing and another persons support to go up. I don't see any palki Or other facility to cover that area. On both sides of the stairs as well lot of prasad shops are there and you can see few local homes. On reaching the top you will see beautiful Mata ji ka Darbaar. Mata Sukrala wali Mata ji is believe to be kul devi of the entire world. Those who are not aware of their kul devi can consider Mata ji as kul devi. Inside Bhawan their is beautiful murti of Mata ji along with kali mata ji. Darshan ker k you will feel very satisfying and blessed. Jai Mata Di!
