Edit : Visited again this year on 26th Jan, it was too crowded and we waited for more than an hour and sadly had to leave without the main course.

Rockside Resto Bar is just on the main road in Karkala having ample of parking space and good food service.
The ambience is nicely lit and good relaxed atmosphere found here. Chilled myself with mild beer, along with starters pork crispy and tawa mackerel fry. Pork crispy is a must try as it was cooked with perfection. Even fish fry was good in tasting with right spices and masalas used. Also tried chicken manchow soup which also was equally good. Later in the main course mutton biryani was relished with lip smacking taste. Enjoyed the lunch and the quality service to the maximum. The hospitality is really great and a best place to drink and dine.

Very good place… food is awesome.. staffs are very good and friendly. Place is very good and well maintained.

Had a great time with a large family group. Food, drinks and ambiance was top notch.

I visit here once a month..food is good and the service is quick.Am sure you guys will love this place.

Had great veg and non veg food here. Was traveling back from Koodlu falls and wanted a standard place to eat. Well this was just what I wanted. This place has rooms(separate compartment) for groups, you can buy beer and all the other stuff. The non veg food is great and even the veg is prepared pretty nicely. There is parking for your vehicles. No outdoor seating. There is like a public restuarant which is not that clean. I'd rather stay in the room. Washrooms are alright. The food prices are very reasonable.

This place is near to the main road, easy to find, good parking space, good ambience and tasty food.

The Best family Restaurant in Karkala. Got warm welcome, good service, superb ambience & delicious food. It was worth our visit.

Above the world Paneer Tikka Masala. Just Amazing.

We were on way to Bangalore, and had do get a side dish to have with our home made chapathis. So our only option was a BAR on way as everything else was closed. The Paneer Tikka Masala here was better than some of the most famous North Indian restaurants of Bangalore. Period.

Now have to travel to Karkala every time to have a good Paneer Side Dish.

Passed by this place when was enroute to St Lawrence Church. Could see even John's Water World behind the premises.

They have Happy Hours between 3pm and 7pm on draught beer and food (5% off on both). The pork roast dish is to die for, their mackerel rava fry is well done (rather large sizes of mackerel served + fresh!) & their dal tadka is a must try. Never tasted such yummy dal in my life. They also have cabin system if you want privacy for family or a duo and they also have an open table system . One can make a payment thru Wallets as well.

They provide tasty food... And talking about price, all level people can afford it normal price they charge for food and drinks... Have parking place also for both 4 & 2 wheel.

Definitely it deserves 5 stars. The food is great and the service as well. Family or with bachelor friends, it's the best place to have dinner with your loved ones.
