Dibrugarh Bengali High School

Started in 1918 during the British era, this school in its early days medium of instruction was Bengali. From those days to now the school has grown to Higher secondary school. Proud to be associated with this school as it has oldest teaching staff and administration people. Lot of people have passed out of the school, the teaching is very good and staff are hard working. Love this school very much.

Bengali High School was established in 1918 by Dr Phani Ghosh & others and had since then a leading Bengali medium school in the town of Dibrugarh. The school once marked excellent results in Matriculation Exam as well as the HSLC Exam. In fact, it was a pride of the entire district of the then Lakhimpur.
The writer of this note passed the HSLC Exam in 1964. I lay my sincere pranams to this Alma Mater !!.
