I have passed by this location more than a few hundred times, but never went inside.
I was amazed when I entered inside. It crossed my expectations.
The site is so eye catching and beautiful. So many photo spots and kid friendly locations.
I was surprised to know the Bahubali movie was filmed here.
It was lightly crowded when I visited.
Snacks are available but no decent food facility. Good for a small trip with families.

Really admiring mother nature for such creations. Years old rocks and a canyon like path in between these rocks. Excellent place for creative photography. All angles can be captured well. The particular colours of the rocks also make us curious. It was very windy by evening. Must visit.

Orvakal Rock Garden, or Oravakallu Rock Garden, is the 1000 acre Sculpture Garden park with ancient cave and igneous rock formations between pools of water. It is located on NH-40 highway, outside the village of Orvakal, about 20 kilometres from Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, southern India. There is a lot of facilities include Boating, Hotel etc., The park, with hiking paths that snake up a hill, was developed by the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation.

The content of the rocks is quartz and silica, a raw material for the glass industry. Several companies have petitioned for the ability to mine the area, which raises ecological concerns. The garden has been a site for film production, which has resulted in another ecological concern due to plaster of paris remnants left at the park after the movies were completed.

Worth stay at rock gardens. Actually they r quartz rocks. Worthy for mine exploration. Since airport is near by govt norms won't allow for mining. Very worthy for couples stay as well as family get togethers. 👌

A very beautiful place to visit. Stay is also good. Very calm and serene. Must visit place to get away from hustle and bustle mechanical life that we lead. We will definitely feel the serenity. Natural rock formation will simply amaze one. One of the best weekend getaway.

It is a very beautiful place to be visited once. You can witness here different and unusual shapes of rocks. This formation was due to wind erosion.
~Another attraction of this place is the structures of different animals and insects. You must be thinking what might be so special about these structures. Well they are made up of waste metal parts.
~If you want you can stay over here as they have resort amidst these rock formations.
~There is a restaurant also but cannot comment about the food as we didn't ate over there.
~Restrooms are also available.
Altogether it was a nice experience but just one suggestion that you should visit this place in winter season.

Beautiful rock formations. I was mesmerized with the beauty of this place. It is really surprising that we have place like this in India. Earlier I have visited the similar place in death valley, USA..It should be declared as the national heritage site.
Entry ticket is 20/- per person. There are plenty of benches and rocks to sit and adore the beauty. Some idiots could be seen eating and throwing food waste inside. Also lot of plastic waste could be seen in some corners. Authority should take care of this to preserve the beauty of the place.
But it's a must visit.

I saw a new form of rock, while traveling towards hydrabad, and enquired in a shop. They told to see this place. I see a great deal of rocks. A feel of traveling in early period of earth formation, the evidence of water flow and rock to sand formations. Great 👍 👌

Another awesome place to visit in Ahobilam. It was just beside Haritha facility and a well maintained garden to spend your day with family. I would suggest visiting this place during golden hour to avoid harsh sunlight.

Fascinating formations of rocks.
But this place lacks any information on how these geological formation happened to form. The APTDC resort below needs to do a better job at maintaining the place.

Great tourist place. Good for family and couple visits. Well maintained. Plz don't take any eatables there and throw wrappers around. Take care of kids as the place is rocky. Nice location for photoshoots and video shoots.

It's an amazing place for photography and this place is soo good in early morning or in the evening.

Heat is soo high during mid days as heat reflects back from rocks.

Good for youngsters, couple and families with children to spend some time as it will not be soo busy during early days.

It is soo convenient to get to this place as it is just by the side of Kurnool and Srisailam highway.

It's a huge place so u can have ur privacy.

Place was awesome and location was superb. One thing has to focus is Maintenance is not up to the Mark. I see Bottles thrown every where. There are so many names written by visitors on rocks. This has to be avoided and we have to protect sites like this.
Over all Nice experience at the Place.
