Mudhouse Under Mangoes - Restaurant & Resthouse

Awesome place, great hospitality, nice people. We stayed here for 2 days and they really made us feel like home.
Food is super tasty and fresh here and service is extremely nice.
They'll arrange everything for you at a reasonable price from cabs to safaris.
The property is really beautiful with nice gardens and mudhouse rooms which have all the facilities you can ask for.
Their home made mango pickle is so good, we took some with us home :)

Sanket and Shruti are really great host. We felt like visiting our natives place and spending time with family.

The property is very artistic and the mudhouse are really a hell of a experience to stay.... being very cozy and comfortable. U will find many small small things handpicked from various sources and this tells how serious and dedicated Sanket is about giving a great experience to their guest, For Example: antique watche, fire flame lamps, mud lamps, floor rugs, handmade copper crockery, unique Tea Cups etc etc..

Watching movie under the stars in an open air theater setup is again iceing on the cake, followed by dinner.

Collection of recipes by Sanket and Shruti are amazing. I bet some u have never heard of their recipes and those are the things one must try, I loved the Kala dal and Bhaang seeds ( cannabis seeds) chutney and the home made mango icecream in Dessert.

We stay for less than 17Hrs but can write a 20 pages book on the information I gather and experience I had. Surely i missed my family as it was a random trip with one o my best friend but will be visiting back soon but this time with family and few more close friends for a long stay.

Had a good experience in Mudhouse Under Mangoes. The food was excellent and mouth watering. The caretakers are very well behaved. Well maintained Resthouse in the lap of Nature. Only drawback is sound of passing heavy vehicles on the road as the Resthouse is just near the highway. Not much of issue though. Owner - Shruti maintained the property very well and professionally. Go there if you are a nature as well as food lover. I recommend.

It is very warm and welcoming place. It has good access to Ramnagar. Hosts and staff are caring and polite. Ambience is simple and homely. Huts are constructed by nature friendly material and decorated with good aesthetic sense.

Food was super tasty. We were served a local sherbet, mutton curry and awadhi biryani for dinner, all of which was some of the best were have had. Local achar prepared by Mrs. Singh and Mango icecream by Shruti was super delicious.

We will highly recommend this stay if you are around Jim Corbett National park and Nainital. We wished we could stay here longer, will be back for sure.

Lovely little place with an Excellent cook! Their Biryani is the Best. Do try the few local cuisine delicacies as well. If you are the type who prefers once in a while to experience something different and likes eerie silence then this is the place to be!

A combination of Food and nature is best and that's what you get here.
Beautiful place with really good food is a rarest combination. And they serve both. If you are planning a visit to Jim Corbett don't miss this one.

A very calm and soothing space. Loved the vibe and ambience. The food was delicious and fresh. Especially the home made mango icecream is to die for. The staff was nice too. All in all, it's a low-key cute place for a perfect date.

We went there for having food after seeing google reviews. We were 3 families with kids so we were looking for restaurants who can provide non spicy foods.
We called owner Shruti and told to prepare non spicy foods.
Food prepared was excellent . It was like u r having food at ur home.
Tawa roti with non spicy food. We all enjoyed so much that for next 3 days we had all our meals there only.
All kids enjoyed the food because it was non spicy.

This place is amazing. Limited food menu but the taste is good. Jivan kaka is very courteous server. Biryanis and curries are finger licking. Ginger tea was excellent post dinner dessert during the himalyan winters.

Mudhouse under mangoes....what an amazing place to stay.we stayed there for 2days and place gave us the feeling of second home...A home away from home..
Food , hospitality and of course Sanket n Shruti all are fabulous and unforgettable..
Would love to visit this place again n again...

Mudhouses are extremely beautiful and well maintained.

This place requires special mention and applaud to Saket & Shruti - Creators of Mudhouse under Mangoes. It was unbelievable experience. Best homestay ever - Awesome rooms, kind gestures of the hosts, mango trees, bonfire, theatre under sky, FOOD was magical and widespread of varieties. I am definitely going back to this place just to stay-in and eat their food. You guys have made our stay worthwhile and would never forget it. Again, Thank you so much - though this isn’t enough. Nice place surrounded by nature. Good food and nice hospitality.

Great food and great set up.
A chilled out place for one to sit, relax and enjoy the buransh squash with soda.
Mutton nihari had authentic taste and biryani was far better than ordinary ones of lot of places. Biryani is one thing even big names don't get it right and use short cuts to prepare, here that was not the case.
Bakheer was sweet and a good finisher of meal. Hosts were warm and hospitable.

Awesome food, Gr8 place and polite staff

This place was near our resort. And outlook seems so good dat we decided to have our meal there at MudHouse under Mangoes. What could be more gr8 if you get a delicious food in an awesome ambience. Sanket n Shruti both were Gr88 host. Specially appreciate for their extended help in getting booked our Safari, guide us for the itenerary n made the food delivered on single request at resort. Thank you Guys! :)

It is an experience staying at Mudhouse. I had seen so many during childhood but never spent a night in one. When I was researching for options of homestays in Jim Corbett someone referred this place to me. I went through reviews and was sure I have to stay here.
Additionally hosts Shruti & Sanket are very hospitable. They are very caring and helpful. The comfort level in room is basic. Bathroom size is good. Landscaping is very green and lot of plants and trees are in its natural form. One can experience real rustic feeling in here. Jungle book movie in evening on screen kept kids engaged.
Last but not least one of the biggest highlight of the place is tasty food. Anything and everything we ordered was tasty and different. Their recipes are handpicked and they follow it which has made their food famous.
Special shoutout to Homemade Mango Icecream, Bhebhi and Lemon Pepper Fish.

We were party of 6 visiting Corbett Tiger Reserve and found this place on trip advisor as highly recommended. True to that this small and cozy place is very attractive. The dish bhebhi is awesome one should not miss it. Also the home made ice cream is amazing. Cant compare it to any commercial level production. Hosts cum owners are very friendly and interesting to have a conversation with them. If we had missed a conversation with him visiting Jim's museum at Choti Haldwani would have been only a quarter worth. Must visit. Highly recommended.

Very cordial manager and staff.Homely food with some local delights.Me and family found it different and exciting from regular food/ restaurant.A must try definitely.Retro look and village type feel will move you.Only thing I noticed that washroom liquid soap was filled with water!!I told same to staff.Rest all was fine.Hospitality was good.

Amazing food. While staying in Corbett,we were looking at a place for lunch. Did online search and found this place. 30 minutes drive from our hotel, we took a chance a went and were not at all disappointed. Great food and hospitality. Home made awadhi cuisine. Made non spicy food for our 7 year old as well. The meal was followed by delicious homemade mango icecream.

A must visit place for dining. The feel of the place was outdone by the amazing quality of food and the service provided. Everything is cooked fresh and takes some time to prepare but is totally worth the experience.
The Chicken Biryani and homemade ice cream are dishes to must try.

We ordered chicken korma , vegetable soup and homemade mango ice-cream.

The food was prepared fresh and it was delicious. If you don't like sugar it's best to inform them to not add mango syrup on ice-cream.

Ambience is green and peaceful.
The restaurant is camouflaged between trees so it's difficult to spot it.

It's the best restaurant on the way to Jim Corbett.
