It's the oldest and fabulous temple dedicated to Ma Chandi in Durg. Yes it is located in the congested marketplace but the vibes are awesome. It's known to ward off evil spirits. This place gets mostly crowded during Navratri. After renovation completed a few years back it became more visually appealing.

There are 2500 lamps ignited at just one place. Which is it self a high in number of lamps also it makes too mesmerized view.

It was old Temple located at heart of Durg city , these temple was located at middle of shiv paara and Gaya nagar and these adress also called chandi chowk and these temple is an about 300 yrs old,and peoples have too much faith about these Devi and we all also called CHANDI MAA ,these Devi full fills all requirements of their bhakts.

I loved this place because it's peaceful place and maa Chandi devi blessing you. If you ho there please visit in navratri season because, in navratri season this place is very crowdy and very good moments. In Navratri this temple has full of people and you seen the jyot in navratri season.
