Excellent location, near to many tourist spots.
Very comfortable rooms, neatly maintained and felt like home.
The highlight of the day was the delicious, organic and vegetarian food.
The whole stay was comfortable, wish to come back again!

We stayed @ Magod Homestay during Oct last weekend. It was a great experience staying amidst forest. Mr. Nagaraj and his parents are great hosts who took care of us well. We loved the tasty homely food served, it was one of the best food we had in a homestay, "ಬಹಳ ರುಚಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು". Thank you for your hospitability!

It was marvolus experience with Magod home stay. Food was authentic uttar kanada style & was very good. Ideal place for mind relaxtion. No network but wifi is provided. Very clean & hygienic . Very good service .

Visited this place last month with family. Awesome place surrounded by thick forest but very safe. Clean and neat room, Homely and tasty food. Very nice hospitality. Mr. Nagraj Bhat is very friendly. Thank you Nagraj. Planning to visit again.

A perfect Stay for both Family and friends! Away from the City and crowd. Could hear birds chirping all night, beautiful star gazing, Silence, wild and Green.
10/10 for cleanliness and service, Food was super delicious and worth the money

Nestled amidst lush green forests, a prefect getaway to de-stress from the hustle bustle of the city. The hosts are kind, friendly and makes sure that everything is taken care of to the T. I highly recommend this place.

Visited this place on 1st of February, 2023. The hosts Mr. Nagaraj Bhat and his mother welcomed us warmly. The room was spacious with all amenities. The property is cool and quiet with forest on one side and areca gardens and hillocks on the other side. The food served was tasty and delicious. Mr. Nagaraj Bhat took us on a walk through his arecanut plantation and through the jungle route with good knowledgeable narration. Thanks to Mr. Nagaraj and his mother for making our stay comfortable.

My family had been there to attend a puja at Ghante Ganapati temple at Yellapura. We took 2 rooms at this home stay.

Mr. Nagaraj is so polite and accomodative. The food was very hygienic and served hot. The rooms were very calm. The location is serene. Overall we had a very pleasant experience. I strongly recommend this place.

We booked this resort based on the positive reviews and location. I can only write amazing things about this homestay with nagaraj being the perfect host, who ensures every minute detail of customers are addressed. Prices are very reasonable for the kind of service you get over there. Our stay would have been incomplete without their delicious food. Overall this homestay qualifies amongst top three in yellapur.

Awesome place midst of nature. Owner is kind enough in making guests comfortable and guiding about every possible places around. Even he guided to a hidden falls. Food is extraordinarily nice. If you want calm serene place this is the place.

Excellent hospitality and we felt we are all a family. Very tasty local cuisine prepared and served with love. Lot of attractive places all around the place. The home stay is in a big farm and children can see and experience the various types of trees. They arrange camp fire, sugarcane juice and all local varieties of food. The morning walk in the jungles is a heavenly experience the A must visit place and away from the noise and pollution of a city and we are craving to visit there again

A good place to relax. Homestay is in the middle of dense forest and has very nice views. Host Mr Nagaraj is very friendly and helpful. We had a very good time. Places around Magod Homestay are very beautiful and are not crowded. Food is excellent vegetarian food.

Magod Homestay is one of the best places in yellapur where you can hangout with your friends or family. Which basically located in a beautiful greenary and peaceful place, also surrounded by beautiful farm.

Will get best services in accomodation, healthy and homely food (especially 'Malenadu' style foods are the special one you can taste here), transportation.
Also they will treat the customers in a very polite and delightful way.

Moreover this is the best place which has beautiful places at it's surrounding to visit like falls and sunset ponds , viewpoint etc.

Clean, calm and beautiful place. Most of the networks doesn't work in the forest but, they provided WiFi but, disconnecting from virtual life, you do get sometime to live the moment fully. Many tourists place is just few moments far from homestay, indeed it's located in a good place. The owner/caretaker of the place was really very friendly. Vegetarian Food is available but, if you are someone who prefer non vegetarian, you would have to dine in and around yellapura but, for some seconds, I did wish there was some egg items in meal they provide but, I was fine with vegetarian food items. The rooms are really clean, do have a look at the paintings on the walls, it's interesting. Overall, I loved the place and I do believe you too will :)

I would highly recommend this place, especially for families. We thoroughly enjoyed the local food and the hospitality offered by Nagaraj and family. This place is located in the middle of the farm and it is truly an enriching experience for the kids. Be it the humming of crickets (insect) that never stops, a well maintained farm, a beautiful lake near by. This place is a must visit for someone who is looking for a break from city hustle bustle. Nagaraj is a very approachable and friendly person. He ensured that we had a comfortable stay and also guided us with the nearby places to visit. Magod is located amidst the forest and has a lot of scenic places to visit and drive through.

Spend a day in this place with family. Nice serene environment surrounded by Forest & plantations this is an ideal get away place. Very well maintained rooms , good home cooked Malenadu Vegetarian meals & great hospitality by the owner. We had a great day spent here. There are lot of unexplored places nearby.
