The Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Solapur University campus is about 13km. from the Solapur city on National highway. The Solapur university is established on year 2014.The different UG,PG and Ph.D courses are offered by university. The campus is very green, beautiful and well developed. The PAHSUS is awarded 'Digital University' by education dept.of Maharashtra. The Library, Clean drinking water, washrooms and ATMs are availiable in university campus.

It is amazing, very nice place ,environment and facilities ever seen ,i feel pride because i am in solapur university from last 3 years.two year as a student and one year as a faculty .....

Excellence university, excellent faculties. Syllabus is up to date, whatever new guidelines are prepared by UGC neatly followed by Solapur University.
All faculties are available like science, arts, commerce and management, chemical science, engineering etc.
Examination pattern is updated procedure is very simple and results are declared in time.
Peoples are use to say university education system is not good but without experience don't speak anything.People's who are alumina of Solapur University today they are contributing for nation, World.
Solapur University is established for Solapur district. I think there are very few universities for single university.

This is the 1st university in the world which operates for only one district.
Formerly it was postgraduate centre of Shivaji University Solapur University was established on 1st August 2004 and was inaugurated on 03-08-2004 by the Governor of Maharashtra. The formation of the university at Solapur was a long cherished desire of the people of this region. Earlier, to the formation of University, Solapur had a P.G. Centre of for over two decades. The centre for P.G. studies had three postgraduate science departments and 7 postgraduate courses conducted in the P.G. departments. With this sound background has been established to cater the needs of over 60,000 students community. The university is poised for an ambitious growth. The University is now a hub of various academic activities. Good number of Engineering, Agricultural, Architectural, Medical and Traditional institutions of national fame are located in and around the city. Solapur is a home of religious saints of various languages as the district is at a triple junction of linguistic states of Andhra, Karnataka and . Therefore, Solapur is secular and metropolitan to its core. The said backdrop makes the University stands for transcendent principles and embodying noble mission. It is a small team yet progressive and forward-looking. Perched on a plateau, the is a citadel of higher learning. Recently the  has introduced the concept of school system and has decided to bring its various departments under umbrella of various schools
