Best garden for relaxation for the people at the centre of the city. The crowd and rush outside the park is tremendous. The place is maintained well and a room for the senior citizens is also built for their entertainment. A great initiative. Outside the park, you can get juice and food.

छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य की सबसे बड़ी और सबसे पुरानी सरकारी विश्वविद्यालय का उद्यान है। समय के साथ ही साथ इसका विभाजन होता गया और अनेक विश्वविद्यालयों की स्थापना हुई। जैसे गुरु घासीदास विश्वविद्यालय बिलासपुर, हेमचंद्र यादव विश्वविद्यालय दुर्ग। यह जी ई रोड पर स्थित है। आवागमन हेतु आसानी से साधन उपलब्ध हो जाते हैं। यहां लगभग सभी प्रमुख विषयों की पढ़ाई होती है।
