Kamna Devi Temple

It's sacred place located near boileauganj, shimla. It's a belief that wathever you will wish forKamna devi fulfills them. It's located at peak of the boileauganj hill so you can get a 360 degree view of shimla. You can reach here by walking or by Car.

The temple is 10 min away from boileauganj. Located at the prospect hills, the location provides a serene environment and fresh air.

A perfect mix of Serenity and Divinity.. The beauty of the place is Spellbounding. The visit here just brings in the peace..and if on foot then it multiplies manifold.

One of my oldest memory had fixed up with this Maa Temple that when I was studying in clast 8th, we come for a day picnic and had celebrate one of my best friend's birthday....I....just back to this Maa Temple after 1991. There is slightly better changes rest everything is the same.
The temple is drive in but road is too narrow I took my car till last point of temple. I had enjoyed to drive there.
My family spend some time there suddenly rain started and we came back to home.
This Maa Temple is full of blessings and you will find a pararomic view of Shimla.

Kamna or wish is synonymous with this temple as locals believe that all their prayers are fulfilled here. Kamna Devi Temple is dedicated to goddess Durga and was built by Rana of Junga. The temple stands on a hill at a height of 2155 m and gives an outstanding view of some of the low lying prominent locations of Shimla. A bird’s eye view showcases an array of important places such as the Juogh, Subathu, Tara Devi, some parts of Solan District, Old Shimla & Choor Chandni Dhar. The temple can be traced by walking through a narrow steep path on the hill top. Moments of dawn and dusk are exquisite here and most awaited by visitors who stroll around the periphery of the temple after offering prayers. This temple is also famous by the name Kreera Devi Mandir. It is accessible from Baluganj, which is a part of Shimla on the western side of the city. Tourists throng to this temple for silent appreciation of the beauty and calm of this environment. A breathtaking view and mild chilly breeze blowing have a strange kind of mysticism about them. As the sight of the first sun rays descends up on this sacred temple, the feeling is divine.

Jai Kamana mata. Beautiful temple, devi sitting on top of the hill taking care of ahimla people. 15 mins trekk from baalu ganj. Cars also go. You can hear blowing of wind hitting deodar tree sound. Don't leave shimla without getting Devi's grace.

This place was so serene and nice. A small temple on a very steep road. Positive vibes and beautiful environment.
