Dhingu Mandir

Sitting on top of a hillock, overseeing Shimla and adjoining locales, the gorgeous Dhingu Mata Mandir is a shrine dedicated to the divine Goddess.

The temple has mini shrines within for Nav Durga, Lord Shiva and Lord Rama.

The temple offers Bhandara to its devotees every Sunday except winter months of snowfall.

Very Beautiful Temple situated on top of Sanjouli Dhali Hill...

I have been this Temple with my family after a long time and find there a new type of construction. The new design of Temple was amazing but little disappointing with its new design. There is no view and its all covered. There should be glass window to enjoy 360 degree view.

The Temple of Mata Dhingu as is with almost all temples in Dev Bhumi Himachal is on a steep hilltop, a journey of hope ,strength and fortitude is what it takes ..if you are going to kufri side ,sanjauli bazar road takes you up there. .ask anyone and they will lead you ..

Each time the Shimla people like us feel sad,happy or have something to thank or ask for Dhingu Na Mandir is where our instincts lead us to..🙏

Very nice temple located on the top of the hill in Sanjauli.
Quite a few steps are there to reach the temple and it does account for a good workout.
The place is beautiful and offers a soothing peace of mind to the devotees visiting here.
The views of the surroundings from the hill top are nice and expansive.
It is a lesser known place as compared to the nearby Jakhu temple, but totally worth a visit.
Highly recommended.

If you live somewhere/Visiting in Sanjauli or Shimla, then this is a very good place for you to visit and you can also do some trekking here. From above the view is very beautiful. As well Dhinghu mata Mandir has its historical significance.

Very peaceful place, visit Dhingu mata mandir it has nearly 437 steps if you go via market route. You can even drive your car from other side but you can only reach to the monestry then .From monestry to Dhingu mata mandir u need to track ( it is not an easy track but a bit risky time of track is just 7-10 mins ). Dhingu mata mandir is very lovely place to visit. ***** Important point temple is closed from 1-2 pm everyday**** . And you need nearly 45-50 mins to reach to temple from market

Scene from this temple is very beautiful and look like wallpaper. Food served in this temple is very tasty. You should visit there.

The view from the top was amazing . I visited the temple late in tge evening so it was like the whole sanjauli was twinkling like stars . It was soooooo nice to be there.

Its a beautiful temple at sanjauli hills in Shimla although you will have to walk a little nearby is a Tibetan monestry
