I was blessed to experience GARBA in Gujrat this year. After one night stay in Ahmedabad I and my friend had planned to visit the Rann of Kutch. Although not the best time to visit Kutch as the white desert was not completely dry we had a pleasure to see the kuch with water as well as the white desert. Coming to the best part of our visit was the RANN VISAMO. The beauty of the bhungas and it’s mud paintings will leave you amazed. It’s hygienic, clean and quiet. A special mention of “GAGAN BHAI” who hosted us and invited us to his village to attend garba. He is a warm, soft and an amazing human being. It was a blissful experience with the people there who taught us garba and helped us gel with the energetic environment in very little time.
Finally, if you are planning to visit RANNUTSAV then I’ll recommend you to stay in RANN VISAMO. It’s close to the Rann of Kutch, Dholavira and Kala Dungar.
You’ll definitely have a great time ❤

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the captivating region of Kutch, and it was an experience that left me awe-inspired and deeply connected to the local culture. One of the key aspects that made my journey truly unforgettable was the invaluable guidance I received from the locals themselves, which added a unique flavor to my exploration.

Kutch is a land of vibrant colors, breathtaking landscapes, and a rich cultural heritage. The people here are warm, welcoming, and eager to share their traditions with visitors. Upon arriving, I was fortunate enough to meet locals who offered me invaluable insights into the best places to explore cultural experiences.

One of the highlights of my journey was staying in a traditional Bhunga room, which turned out to be the best decision for immersing myself in the local culture. The Bhunga, a circular, thatched-roof mud hut, provided a glimpse into the lives of the indigenous people of Kutch. The room was comfortable and adorned with colorful textiles and handicrafts, making me feel right at home. Waking up to the sounds of nature and witnessing the star-lit sky from the Bhunga's garden were moments of pure bliss.

My family and I had a great time at Rann Visamo. The rooms were comfortable and food was amazing. The most special thing, however, remains the hospitality and generosity of the staff who went out of their way to make our stay memorable. 100% recommended

Nice place for stay while visiting kutch withe desert. Nice location with great amenities and cooperative staff. They provide amazing camp fire. We had enjoy lot during my last visit.

Beautifully setup place provisioning mud houses, Swiss tents, sitting area and good food.

The staff is courteous and tries fulfilling all your requests. Food is nicely prepared with taste of real ghee and butter filling you with joy.
The tents are comfortable with cleanliness maintained even for the bathrooms.
The only improvement I feel can be done is to provide a heater or a blower for the stay in Swiss tents as it may become very cold at nights.
We even played stick cricket in the area available and the night folk performance were memorable.

It was great experience... Food was really too tasty and was also healthy. The best part was they served us Pure Jain Food in all meals. Their Staff are really too helpful and courteous, Jagdish(one of the staff) who was very helping guy... Price is too reasonable as per they provide service, food and facilities.. extra activity with camp fire and dance was amazing too..

We were 2 couples with 1 year kid. We booked bhungas..

Would love to go again for long stay..

Best resort to stay in Rann of kutch. Very peaceful place. Good cultural program at night. Tents are good spacious and clean. Staff is co-operative.

Nice place to come with family, friendly staff, bhunga is mini cottage and different from what u stay in regular cottage. Nicely decorated walls, with night campainging and traditional live music. Enjoyed a lot with family. Food is according to local taste.

Living in Cottage and Traditional bhongas was an amazing experience. The rooms are well decorated n blanketsa The staff is very helpful n forth coming. Food was good . They made Jain food as per our request. Not a very commercial place, so u get a very village feeling. In the evening they attached for folk singers and bon fire. Village artisans come here to sell their ware. It's a good experience to go to nearby hodka village to buy stuff from their house.

Rann visamo resort is highly recommended for honeymooning couples and families alike with wonderfull cottages and tents. Amazing hospitality by the staff and the owner dhanji Bhai will try to accomdate special wishes on the food changes, approach road is good and is easily accessible by main road. Overall will be very pleasent and comfortable stay.

Stay over here was amazing. Caretakers are very nice and friendly. We were traveling with an infant and they were readily available for help even in the middle of the night.

Great food and service.

They also provide a taste of local folk music as they invite few of the local artists every evening. Its a good experience over bon fire.

stayed here for 2 nights .. been sometime though (read 4 years) and it were the best 2 days in a long long time.
Off the grid .. so serene and calm and the people with such a huge heart.
It is a personification of "mehmaa jo hamara hota hai bhagwan se pyara hota hai"

Fondly remember every single meal I had here .. and I would prefer those Rotla (bajra roti) with ghee gud (jaggery) and garlic chutney over anything else my entire life.

Bhungas and cottages where you enjoy rural stay. Great hospitality. If you are going during the rann utsav, book in advance. The huts had beautiful art all over. Homely delicious food. Only the breakfast needs more options.
