Tuirihiau Falls

It is very close to Vantawng Falls. But the conditions of the road was not that good and don't trust google map or you will end up in different locations ask the local there are very friendly. They had ticket for tourist so take it before you go. The fall is amazing. The location is perfect for couples and family. You have to walk a little I think around 100 steps to go down there. But it is worth it

This fall is in a very good shape with two plunge.
One can easily go behind the top plunge.
There is also a swimming pool over there..
Anyone can do picnic also.
We did it and felt very fresh.

Nice place to have picnic and swimming. The place is famous for tourists and local travellers. The natural water falls and rivers in this place are worth to see in once in a lifetime. If you want to reach here you have to pay entry fee at the main entrance gate.

This place is near Thanzawl. Around 10km
A must go place in Mizorum. It's an unique waterfall where u can go behind the water and in the cave.

This water falls is located some 10 kms from Thenzawl. It is surrounded by lush green forests. There is a small hike and stairs that you have to do to reach the waterfalls, but once you reach the view is stunning. It took us hardly 7-10mins. We went when water was less, but if there was more water or in a better time, the beauty would have been truly other worldly. There is a cave behind the falls, and one can enter it as well to see the water falling from behind. If there was more watered would have got drenched while entering but with less water it was easy.
This one was truly one of the most satisfying waterfalls i have seen in my life. Entry fee is there but it is marginal. Definitely recommended.

We visited in the month of August, it was drizzling and we had a great experience. Before reaching the falls you need to walk a bit which is kinda adventurous..we loved it😊

the most beautiful waterfall in Mizoram. The only falls where you can stand behind the waterfall and enjoy it. the road leading to the falls is a 20 minutes trek from the parking space.

Such a beautiful place! the 3.5 hours drive from Aizawl city was worth it!

Excellent waterfall. Person from gate hotel demands rs 30pp without money receipt. Waterfall is with roots side by.

Nice place for outing and picnic

Lovely waterfall along the way from Thenzawl to Lunglei. I visited in the month of March, hence the volume of waterfalls was relatively less. Come the monsoons, and the waterfall would look even more spectacular.
The water flows over a cave like formation.

Its very near to the Vantawngkhawhthla waterfall and i almost fall of the edge when i was going on the sideways...

One of the best placed to visit in Mizoram. But dont expect something that you saw on tv. This placed is natural wonders, everything you saw there was made by mother nature, the sound of the wild, the smell of the forest, are still exists in this area. Good luck and have a nice day

It is near Buangpui village. There is a waterfall and a picnic spot. Entry fee is Rs 10. The place is actually on the Vanva river. Below the waterfall is a pond where fishes are protected. You can see a few species of Mizoram fishes.
