We recently went on a tour to Bhutan with the tour operator Summit Safari, and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. From the moment we arrived, I was impressed by the hospitality of the tour operator.

Our guide Pema Wangada was incredibly knowledgeable, providing us with in-depth insights into Bhutanese history, traditions, and way of life. Our driver Karma is a soft spoken person and allow us to explore the stunning landscapes and rich culture of Bhutan.

Summit Safari provided the fantastic accommodations, with comfortable rooms and breathtaking views. The meals were also a highlight, one should try the Ema datshi, the national dish of Bhutan, is an easy-to-make, hearty soup with chilli peppers (ema) and cheese (datshi).

One of the highlights of the trip was the hike to the Tiger's Nest monastery. It was a challenging trek, absolutely worth it.

Overall, I highly recommend Summit Safari for anyone looking to explore Bhutan.

We have just returned from the most, fantastic 20 day trip/tour that we have ever done. I started this report in Shimla and finishing as we approach Yorkshire, back in Gods own county.

It has been absolutely spectacular, awesome, mind blowing, educational, and any other adjective you wish to choose.
We have been expertly shown around by tour guide Vishal Dutta (‘come’, ’stand there’, ’come this way’) who has been the most enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide you could hope to have. Also our exceptional photographer.

We have been to many places that normal tourists would not go to, purely because of his personal knowledge. The enthusiasm and attention to detail was superb.

We have stayed in Delhi, Jodhpur, Pushkar, Jaipur, Agra, Udaipur, Amritsar, Dharamshala and Shimla.

These places are all different and whilst the highlight has to be the Taj Mahal, which certainly brought a tear to my eye, they all had magnificent things to see and hear.

We shall take with us and remember the mad but very functional driving, the sights and sounds of the cities, the peace of the countryside and the friendliness of the people.

Thanks also to Mr Singh and Shakti our drivers and, of course, Vishal’s family for their warmth and welcome.

Twenty days of sheer brilliance. We thought it would be an adventure but little did we realise how much we would be captivated by everything India.

What were the highlights of this trip for me? Along with the incredible historic sites, the hospitality of people who we could visit in their homes and who cooked the delicious dishes for us. The real taste of India.

2 weeks were barely enough for our comprehensive travel itinerary for the 5 states in northwestern India :) Still, enough for great and memorable impressions of a diverse, colorful, mysterious and spiritual India. It was exciting, sometimes strange, sometimes shocking, but also amazing and beautiful. Even cold weather in Shimla and catching a cold could not spoil the experience.

We had an amazing experience with Bhutan with the tour operator Summit Safari. The tour operator arranged the guide Mr. Pema, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about Bhutanese history and culture, and he was always happy to answer our questions. He was also very patient and understanding, and he made sure that always comfortable and safe.

The tour was fantastic. We visited the most beautiful and unique places in Bhutan includes Tiger's Nest, Fertility Temple, Buddha Dordenma statue beautiful Bumthang and Haa valleys etc..

Accommodation was good, with comfortable rooms and great amenities. The transportation arrangements were also excellent, making it easy for us to move around.

Overall, I would highly recommend Summit Safari to anyone looking for a well-organized and memorable travel experience.

We had a wonderful time with Summit Safari during our Spiti Valley trip. I would like to thank Vishal Sir and Shakti Sir for making our trip memorable. From making a customized itinerary as per our requirement to take care of us as a family during the trip. I would like to highlight specially Shakti Sir and his driving skills and knowledge about the place. All homestay and hotels are really good , great hospitality with yummy food. 5 stars are definitely not enough for the service they provide. I have just returned to London from a two week tour of India with Summit Safari. I cannot thank Vishal Dutta enough for organizing a wonderful trip. He is not only a very knowledgeable guide but a great person to spend time with. He engages with his clients in a sensitive but fun way which adds immeasurably to the enjoyment of the holiday. Vishal catered for every request I made with enormous attention to detail. Absolutely nothing went wrong, and this being India, is quite something!
I fully intend to visit India again and would not consider using a different travel company and guide. My sister accompanied me on this trip. She enjoyed it so much she has stayed, on her own, for another two weeks. I know she is in good hands and will have a wonderful time.

I have just returned after spending 4 weeks touring India with Vishal of Summit Safari. My brother joined me for the first 2 weeks as this part of the trip related to retracing our birth roots. Vishal went to extraordinary lengths to help us find where we would have lived, where we were baptised, schools that our older siblings attended and even the church where our parents got married. This trip will always remain a very special memory - thank you Vishal. I then continued to tour new places and revisit some favourite ones. I highly recommend Summit Safari. Vishal, his drivers, our expert tour guides were highly knowledgeable and skilled, their friendly and engaging manner really helped make a wonderful holiday. And, last but not least, Vishal is fun to be with and I look forward to touring other parts of India with him and Summit Safari.

We went for the Spiti winter tour with Summit Safari, all girls group. It was a very comfortable and enjoyable tour for us. The hotels and home stays provided were in gorgeous places. Home stays owners were very warm and as a bonus point we could also experience our first live matches of ice hockey in Kaza.
The itinerary was well made and everything possible was covered during the tour. The driver(Parveen) was accomodating and cool, fun to be around and we felt safe while traveling with him.

I had a recent holiday in Kerala organised by Summit Safari which was brilliant. Unfortunately my wife couldn’t make the holiday as she fell ill so I travelled alone with Vishal as my guide throughout Kerala. It was an amazing holiday and I learned so much about India from Vishal during the journey. I would certainly recommend anyone booking a holiday in India to use Summit Safari and I will certainly advise any of my friends travelling to India to contact Vishal at Summit Safari.

We had a great experience with Summit Safari for the Spiti circuit trip.
Mr. Shubham provided great support and was always available on call for entire time, especially taking feedback at end of day for each day of trip.

Sanjeev jee, the driver uncle, was also very courteous and helpful and tried his best to cover all the spots.
Stays provided at all places were quite good and comfy.

Me and my friends planned the Spiti circuit tour for the month of June 23 . Right from curating the itinerary, Mr Shubham had been quite helpful and had given all correct feedback and suggested comfortable itinerary keeping in mind that all points are covered . It is worth mentioning that the trip was customised based on our needs and places with proper suggestion from Mr Shubham .

The driver accompanying us ( Mr Sanjeev Shandil ) was experienced , and had knowledge about the complete roads and places. He was quite courteous and did his best to make sure we covered all the places even with bad roads and landslides in between . He was polite and was punctual .
The hotels were booked based on our budget and were at par our needs .

Overall it was great experience and our trip was memorable. Hope to have more trips through summit travels in future

We would give more than 5 stars if possible. Everything about our 8 days with Vishal and his skilled driver was superb. He crafted a custom itinerary and included sites and experiences that require someone who knows the customs and language. We joined the free meal at the Golden Temple at Amritsar and then assisted with the massive clean up. We hiked Shali Tibba peak for beautiful views of the Himalaya. The homestay experience was unforgettable. Vishal was great about taking and sharing many photos. Highly recommend!

My friend and myself travelled to India and had an amazing 28 days. We spent several days in Shimla and were escorted by Vishal during our stay. We actually celebrated Diwali with him and his family. We felt honoured to be invited into his home.

Visiting the Monkey Temple which was so much fun and the Viceregal Lodge & Indian institute was amazing.

We recently completed our Meghalaya and Assam, Northeast India 8 days trip with Summit Safari. It was a really great cultural experience. Right from the start of planning, we received great help and support from Vishal. He clarify our doubts and made our trip hassle free. Very nice service has been provided by team Summit Safari. It was my first time to Himachal Pradesh and starting from Chandigarh we covered 2 nights Shimla, 3 nights Manali, and 2 nights Dharamshala. I was provided swift desire car and the driver Bhim go above our expectations—he is the best. He drives carefully and shows us all the places. He was so friendly and polite, last day our flight get delayed so he showed us around Chandigarh for other extra 3 hours covering the Rock garden and the Sukhna lake, and Summit Safari didn’t charge anything extra for that extra part of the tour local sightseeing . Hotels accommodations all were good located with nice mountain views. Food was good and delicious. Shubham and Vishal was always available on call. Trustworthy and 100% committed team .
