Very beautiful place for a family visit or a picnic. The entry is totally free, when you enter you see a huge parking area, on the right hand side there is a kid's play area. Then inside there ia a huge lake with well illuminated fountains which start at around 7 in the evening. Boating facility is also available there(expensive according to me). The walkway pillars and the trees all are well illuminated. The best time to visit is at around 6:30 in the evening so that you can attend the fountain show. Also the kid's area is very huge and full of rides for them to enjoy. The place is full of benches and grass to chill and enjoy beauty.

There are cafe/restaurant outside the place but not inside although you can bring food/stuff with you to eat inside.

cool place for hangout with friends, family or life partner. kids love this place because of the environment and food stalls outside the campus. best place morning time jogging, walking or yoga sessions. people of every age visit here. if you want peace, do visit once, you will definitely love it.

The place where Swamiji spent some time of his childhood is also ultra special. A calm and cool Breezer place - ideal for meditation.

Such a beautiful place to hang out and go on a walk. There's no entry fee. If you wish to have a boat ride even that it's possible. The spectacular view is worth everything.

Good place for morning walk. Nice decoration,Very clean and well maintained The garden has been developed and it is good. The lighting is good. Always clean. It looks good and the view from here is amazing a very big size sarovar

Oldest sarovar in Raipur at Central location. Good to see and walk around. There is one garden in the middle of Saroval with a big statue of Swami Vivekanand.lake and the park is also well lit. the best part of the park/lake is the gigantic statue of Swami Vivekananda in meditating position at the end of the park. This statue has got a place in the Limca Book of record due to its size.The reflection of the illuminated status on the lake in the evening just makes you feel overwhelmed

The place gets better at night with all the lighting arrangements. The walking area is quite broad so you won't feel walking in a congested area. Very good picnic spot for entire family including check children. Ambience is very fine. park is very neat n clean with awesome lighting all over the park. Musical fountain is also very cool with full of lighting.

One of the best places in Raipur's attractions. Located at the heart of Raipur. As the name depicts Budha Talab is one of the oldest and also the largest water reservior of Raipur. It is also known for its historic importance as it is believed that swami vivekananda used to take bath and swim at this pond during his 2 year stay at Raipur. That is why this reservoir is developed as swami vivekananda sarovar. Now after renovation this place is very beautifull and attractive, very well made, managed and maintained. At the night this place gets illuminated and becomes more attractive. You can also enjoy boating facility here. Sunset and sunrise both can be enjoyed from here. A small garden is made at the center of the sarivar where a large statue of swami vivekananda is situated and the pathway to this garden is also very beautiful and is through above the water. A perfect place to find some moments of peace apart from the bustles of the city crowd.

Vivekananda Sarovar,popularly known as Budha Talab is one the of oldest water bodies and landmarks of the city of Raipur.It is located in the area named as 'Purani Basti' meaning 'Old Settlement' whihc is claimed to be the oldest part of the city.
The presence of 400 years old Dudhadhari Math in this area further makes this claim stronger.
#I have spent my childhood in Raipur and I can say that this lake has always been one of the primary attractions in the city
. In fact it was the only place of attraction 20 years ago when Raipur was a small district town in MP.

Awesome place at raipur. Just wait for the evening the musical light show was amazing.i loved that.

Boating timing are 3pm to 9:30pm. Nice place to spend evening time. For kids they also have various activities to play. Also there are selfie points.
