A calm and cool place 👌🏻

The temple is of wonderful ambience.

The area is surrounded by paddy fields and small Hillocks.

There is a giant Banyan tree infront of this temple.

People gather here in evenings and spend their time with friends.

The constant cool breeze and shelter under this tree is a blessing for people here as well as the travelers in this route.

Palakkeezh Bhagavathy Temple is Shakti temple located at Mundoor,Kerala. A calm and cool place The temple is of wonderful ambience. The area is surrounded by paddy fields and small Hillocks. There is a giant Banyan tree infront of this temple. People gather here in evenings and spend their time with friends. The constant cool breeze and shelter under this tree is a blessing for people here as well as the travelers in this route. Loved the place. One of the oldest performing center of Tholpava koothu ...also this is an oldest Kali temple of Palakkad district....every year i will go to this temple for performing tholpavakoothu. It is believed that the Tholppavakoothu was started here 300 years ago by a great Artist Krishna Navalar.
