GOLDEN PAGODA

Golden Pagoda is one of the famous Buddhists temple as well as holly place in Arunachal Pradesh at Namsai. As part of educational tour, visited this place and found this place really nice and good. Environment is good, very clean and well maintained. From morning to night , you'll find lots of tourists from different places. The evening shows, lightings in this place is very beautiful and must watch. Do visit this place. They will charge a nominal fee for visiting and parking here

The temple is very beautiful and clean. They have shops inside for snacks and merchandises. The beauty of the place cannot be describe in a comment and photo you have to visit to experience with your own eyes.

Golden Pagoda is a MUST visit in Namsai. A breathtaking sight at night. The golden structures are best when the lights are on. If you visit during the day, it's still very pretty and you do get better pictures under the sunlight. We had the opportunity to visit at both times and it was a sight to behold.

Beautiful place, very calm and gives an awesome view when lights are on, A must visit if you are planning East Arunachal Trip.
Usually remains less or none crowded and ticket charges are minimal.

Lovely ambiance but people are very undisciplined. Even going in the restricted area. There's a shoe rack written shoes here, but interesting fact not a single shoe in a rack. Rest you can visit and see the area made with ❤

Very calm place. Can be visited any time of the year. However for people outside Arunachal Pradesh, Inner Line Permit (ILP) is required which is easily available at Dirak Gate about 30 kms from this place.

For ILP, documents of all the travelling adults are required. No docs necessary for kids

Visiting the Golden Pagoda in Namsai is a must. You can spend an entire day exploring its marvelous temples and architecture. I highly recommend this place.

They have really preserved it very properly.The entry fee is Rs 20/- per person. If you are going from assam then you have to take an entry pass from the Bor Dirak gate. It wont take more than 10min,and you are all set to go.

Very beautiful place to visit...If you go in holidays it will be full...if you wanna enjoy the vibe go in weekdays when it's a bit empty

Amazing to see the first ray of sun in the morning. for stay there are so many cottages inside the golden pagoda.

This place is a soul rejuvenating power house. As soon as one enters the temple's premise, silence and calm takes over. It is very pretty and beautiful. It is beautifully maintained and silent.

The temple has more than enough parking space and one needs to buy tickets before entering the Pagoda. There is a resort adjacent to the Pagoda.

This place is so peacefull , you can't even imagine. If you have stressful life ,just vist this place during sunset....sit at the lawn...meditate...hear the birds cry everywhere...silence in between everywhere...you will find inner peace.

A perfect place where Beauty and divinity exists together. The golden color adds to the beauty of the place. Peace and calmness surrounds the place with the various idols of Lord Buddha represents positivity and spirituality. In short a perfect place to spend a day amidst beauty and divinity.

The Golden Pagoda in Namsai is situated in Arunachal Pradesh. It is also known as Kongmu Kham, in the Tai-Khamti language and it's a Burmese style Buddhist temple. A must visit place in Namsai..The night view of the temple is just awasome.....👌👌👌👌

No, doubt a must visit. It is located bang on the highway and easy to access. About 3hrs from Dibrugarh. Well maintained lawns, extremely clean place. The architecture is burmese style and quite breathtaking. Has a resturant also for those who want to grab some food. The cuisine is varied and very eell made.
