Gnana Saraswathi Devi Temple

There is a Siva temple -- with the full form of light -- when the case of linga is taken out. The lights are off and the lighting of the lingam captures every moment of the senses and immersed into devotion with Namah Shivaya..

Very peaceful. Here beside this temple, God Shiva temple is there. Here Sphatika Linga pooja is very important n wonderful. It performs evening 6.00p.m every day.

I'm very attached to this place. I visited this temple almost every week and definitely before exams during my college days! After many years I brought my children to this temple to perform their Aksharabhyasam. The temple staff were very courteous and they are the same till date!

Well built temple in a calm environment at VIZIANAGARAM.
The temples deity GNANA SARASWATI DEVI is beautifully sculptured. The priests are well versed with Vedas and shastras.
We went for AKSHARABHYASAM for my son which was very well performed. The
Aksharabhyasam ceremony was very well organised and the reason for preaching various dieties contributing to a child growth and development were clearly explained.

A special mention about the deity of lord siva- A VERY RADIANT SPATICA LINGAM-which is an eye feast to watch and preach, along with small sculptures of different forms of Shiva Lingam from all over India.

I Highly recommend for a visit to this temple.

An Eternal place.We have two temples over there.One is Saraswathi and other Shiva temple.Gnana Saraswati temple is famous for Aksharabhayasa and Lord shiva temple is famous for its Linga made of Alum(naturally formed Linga),which they usually show us in the evening at 6.By the way,there is also an arena for kids to play.

My grand son Hetvik Reddy's Akshara Abhyas was taken place on 2.5.2023

Very pleasant and devotional experience, On 14th aksharabysam had been done for child...it was systematic and traditional manner done.equal to basara.

Have been visiting this temple since 2004. One of most peaceful places in Vizianagaram to hang around with friends or family or alone.

Goddess Sri Lakshmi Devi, Saraswati Devi and Bhuneswari Devi at single place blessing the devotees are very amazing.
The trip by road is very good, all you have to take is the sum of 1000rupees for the entire event, everything will be provided at the temple premises. Besides, you will have a shiva temple with the jyotirlingas, very delightful, the lingaakara and the nandhieswara are very unique in look.

Goddess Gyana Saraswati .. Wisdom and knowledge....

This temple known for the Aksharabhayasam for kids... They perform group puja well and they do provide required puja samagri...

They have to improve Parking facilities...
It's difficult to park 4W..
They have 4 to 5 slots of puja and it's for 50 mins of puja...

The Gnana Saraswati Devi temple is one of the most famous temple in Vijayanagaram. It is a temple for the goddess wisdom and knowledge. This temple is very famous for Akshrabhyasam for children, the temple opens and conducts three batches of Akshrabhyasam daily. The temple is very peaceful and has many devotees who come to it everyday for Akshrabhyasam.

This place is so peaceful and quiet.
Especially in the evening the temple authority special Poojas.

Good temple.. there is only three batches per day for Akshrabhyasam. So plan accordingly.
