Though in information board, elephant bath time is mentioned as 9 am to 10 am, they have allowed us after 10 am as well . Not sure if it's because of the weekend as we went on sunday. Beautiful scenic pathway from entrance till elephant point. Nice place to chill and explore. They are providing rafting as well which you can go if you love swimming because at one of the point they allow people to swim there.. It's 300 per head. If you are a animal lover I'm sure you will feel a bit for the elephants there without any freedom for them. 100 per head for entrance and special ticket fees has to be paid inside to be allowed for elephant bathing place .

Visiting here was a very beautiful experience. Elephants coming back from jungle then taking a deep in river water. Elephant bathing is very nice to watch.

Try to reach before opening timings. This place is full of rush even on weekdays.

Visited when there was no water in kaveri. You have to walk over stones and cross the river to reach this place. Will suggest to wear shoes when visiting.
Good place where you can see elephants from near and also feed them.

Morning time 9-11 is for bathing and 4-5:30 evening is for feeding plan accordingly for the camp. Elephants are now less as compared to earlier and they are chained up. Everything there is chargeable and you have to buy a ticket for 100/- to enter the camp. You can visit the camp via boat or there is a small Trek of about 10 min which is the most beautiful part of the camp you will have to cross the river.

Must visit for nature or wildlife lovers. If anyone wants to experience the giant elephants nearby and make them take a bath, this is the best place.

Need to cross a river if the boat is not available and reach the bank where the elephants are tamed.
River crossing experience is very good and memorable than boat ride.

We might have to pay some amount for taking photos or elephant bathing etc.

23 Elephants in the camp...get up and close with. Elephants for a while, well maintained, neat and clean place....if the water level raises up, only at times all will be taken to waters if not the elephants can only have a shower form pipe (tank).

The officers are quite friendly...just expected a little more information to be displayed to the general public!!

No info about feeding displayed anywhere, charges without any receipts!!!

It's just a small walk from the road to the lake/river....

Not recommended for 60± as the sand bags and stones to reach the camp are a little slippery and not even to walk on!!

Do carry water for drinking as there is no facility for guests!!

They do have toilets but they lack soap and just ok so don't expect much!!

Elephants are given bath in River Kaveri. Amazing river side place. Need to cross the river to go to elephants place. Crossing made easy by the authorities here. It’s a worth time stuff coming over here. Entry fee of ₹100 per person. ₹250 per person if one wishes to join the staff in giving bath to elephants. Bathing time is between 9-10AM. Awesome place to visit with family. Please take the raft ride. It's worth the money. The elephant camp requires you to cross a shallow river on foot which takes about 30-45 minutes depending on the crowd. But worth the trek too. They do not accept Gpay or any digital payment. Only cash for both rafting and camp entry.

Nice place to see a lot of elephants at the same time. The entry to camp is very enjoying as we need to cross the water body. Visiting the camp on public holidays is very challenging as there was huge crowd.
Entry tickets at 100 each.
Should also try the river rafting which is other fun activity there. Price 300 each.

Timings are very short and best time is to Visit in the mornings to see the bathing and to feed the elephants.

Overall a good experience. Should visit.

It's a must visit if you are coming to coorg. 9-11:30 am you can enter into the camp, feed the elephants and can give them a shower as well. The elephants are very playful. You'll love it. We are visiting in March so there is not much water around therefore no river rafting. Try coming around the Rainy season or later. Importantly the road towards Dubare is beautiful. You'll get to see a lot of scenic beauty around. If you are only two people visiting coorg, it's perfect to rent a scooty or bike and ride through that road. However, please be careful as it's a hill side there are many turns associated however the turns are not very loopy like ooty. It'll take almost 45 min to reach Dubare. But it's worth coming.

Must visit place in coorg due to river trekking. Enjoyed the river crossing part to reach the elephant stable. u have to do a short river trek to reach the spot. Also there are many shops and restaurants at the entrance of the whole campus. At entrance of trekking , u can also enjoy boating but it is not for carrying person to the spot., u have to do river trek. No entry fees for trekking. But u have to pay entry fee for stable. In short trekking part is better than the destination. Don't miss the river trekking ❤❤❤❤. But be careful for aged person as the river rock is bit slippery. Timming - till 6 pm

It is a wonderful experience. The river crossing is an enjoyable experience and shouldn't be missed. The rocks are not well-aligned and hence the path is slightly risky. If you are taking kids here make sure you can carry them in this terrain

I went to this place with family at 4pm but was disappointed to see the huge line for buying tickets at entry.
But it vanished once we enjoyed the boat ride to the elephant park and kids enjoyed the elephants from so close.

I would recommend to reach a bit early before counter open timing to get some respite from queue.

One of the must visit spots in Coorg. You'll surely enjoy it..
We have to cross a river to reach the spot where the elephant camp is present. The crossing is not that hard but you have to be a bit careful with your steps. At some places you will feel the path to be slippery. They have placed sandbags to make the crossing bit easy. Not recommended for aged people though.
After reaching the camp you would have to pay 100 INR per person for the entry. Better to carry cash as they have no option for any mode of digital payment.
Once you get inside you will see many elephants.. if you want to take part in the elephant bathing activity they charge 250 INR per person. You can bathe the elephant as long as you want. This will be a great experience for anyone.. you can touch and feel the gigantic animal and pet them.
After this you can go to the place where they feed elephants. Once the clock hits 11 AM, they will feed the elephants. You can also get the experience of feeding them. After this there are no other activities. But you can sit and watch the elephants as long as you want. Again you would have to cross the river.
You can find many shops near the parking lot but inside the camp there are no shops. So carry water bottles and snacks as required.

The place is very scenic and has many spots for Photo ops.

Other than the elephant bathing experience, the camp can be quite boring.

From parking area, visitors needs to cross Kaveri river by boat or walk to access the main area where the activities are available. Approximately 40 minutes walk to and forth and it was one of the thrilling activity I every experienced. You must reach the elephant camp main entry point before the closing time. For that you need to start walking to cross the river atleast 40 minutes before .

Beware , you have to walk barefoot.

Furthermore, there is a risk of encountering hazardous materials or objects hidden among the submerged rocks, such as broken glass or sharp metal. It's important to exercise caution ,
under water current can push you against rock and cause injury

Some areas water flow is turbulent , avoid crossing through water deeper than your knees if possible.

The best time to visit Dubare Elephant Camp is between the months of October and March

This is a must do when visiting Coorg! Absolutely Amazing experience! Make sure you get there early to get in line as they only sell tickets for an hour when they open! We loved the boat ride over to the camp and walking up to a opportunity to interact with the elephants was great!
