Calm and beautiful place. Old and antique architecture. Good for viewing wooden carvings and clicking good pics. Usually outsiders are not allowed inside the main temple room.

This is the major local temple in the sangla valley. A perfect example of coexistence of different religions as the temple complex also consists of a Buddhist monastry. The wooden architecture is a treat to the eyes. On special days the deity is being carried on a silver palanquin who according to the locals keeps a watchful eye on the village on a regular basis.

The temple is typically made out of wood and sloping roof to sustain any heavy snowfall. The place is situated at a very peaceful location. One can see the Himalayas in the backdrop of the temple. We went in the night and the day time. Currently the temple is closed due to pandemic but one can take darshan from outside during Aarti. One will have to take a short hike to the temple.

Haven't been able to enter the mandir because it was closed at that time, but the outside of the temple is good and has different structures on it's walls.
