Basil Cafe has long been a favorite of mine. The cuisine is wonderful and freshly prepared. The service is fantastic. People are quite friendly.For the amount of food served, it is quite affordable. My favorite dishes are the lemon coriander soup, the chikpotle salad, and the biscuit puddings.

A very beautiful cafe to enjoy with family and friends and good vibes of old music with amazing food to taste. Highly recommended as it is budget friendly ❤

I just love this place. The food is rich and heavenly... They have delectable French & mexican cuisines one must try.. Also, they have great continental cuisines too.

A very good restaurant in Manipal. Restaurant with classy look. Great ambience, loved the interior and sitting arrangements . You get Indian, Italian, Chinese and Continental food too. The menu they have, the price range and the quality of the food everything is just awesome. Super consistent when it comes to taste. Starters and desserts are really good. Service is also very good and in time. Easy going staff members.
Do try the Chicken Manchurian, Creamy Italian Pasta, you just can't get enough of it🤩

Visited Basil cafe for lunch. The atmosphere of the place is great! The staff is polite and friendly. Service was great too!!

I'm working at this place from almost one year. Owner and staff has been polite to me.Food atmosphere salary everything's is far better than any restaurant I worked so far. I bought some of Dafadars from my native place to work with me but they started harrasing and misbehaving with customers and stole some money. Owner is kind so terminated them without taking any legal action for harassment and theft. Raj creation is one of them.

It’s a lovely place to go with family and friends. Great food, good ambience, neat place and friendly staff. They serve a variety of Mexican food and every dish that we tried was wonderful. We loved the nachos, veg burrito and garlic cheese chicken. The owner was kind to provide us with a complimentary dessert for my little one, and that was amazing too! Highly recommend this place.

A great place for lunch .. good combo type dishes.. i recommend chicken kadai with 2 wheat parotas which come with it.. 😋🤤.. A complete meal✌.. Don't have Biryani over there... A warning... It tastes low 😒.. otherwise everythings great😂

Decent restro cafe in Manipal. I was impressed with service from staff. All of them were cheerful and always carried smile. They also helped me in making the order. Ambience is good. Food is excellant. I ordered soup and pita bread with cheese sauce. Both items were good. Limited parking is also available.

A must-try place in Manipal. I've tried almost all the dishes on the menu and like almost all of them. The salads and starters are really good. Cream of Mushroom soup and Honey chilli potato would be my favourite dishes. The ambience is good and the staff, friendly. Cleanliness is well taken care of. The pricing is decent too. Not sure about the parking during busy hours as we've mostly been there on weekdays.

One of the finest restaurants in Manipal , which has left the best impression on my first visit. The staff is extremely welcoming and good at making you feel comfortable. Delicious food at a reasonable price. Highly recommended

The best thing (other than pita bread ofcourse) is that these ppl take customer service seriously. They personally come to each table and ask for food quality and suggestions.

My comfort food here is Bbq chicken/chicken steak with mashed potatoes and boiled veggies and some combos over cheese toasts/butter garlic rice. My sister loves the Basil Special Pasta. The ambience is very nice, we'll air conditioned, good lighting, good seating, very family friendly especially because Jackie uncle (the owner) makes us feel at home there. He is loved by all families and students and the same goes to the resturant❤. The pricing is pretty reasonable and the quantity and quality of food do justice.

I have been there many times and order food regularly from this place. Consistent taste and very good taste. The place is hygienic and the kitchen is very clean too. The owner Mr Jackie is a very friendly person and is very passionate about the food being cooked. One of the best place to visit with family. Do try theirs pasta, salads and quesadillas.

Best restaurant in Manipal. They serve both veg and non veg. Great ambience and top service. Staff are very friendly in nature. They always have a smile on their face which makes us feel good. We had their veg Sandwich, basil cream mushroom soup and dragon chilli babcorn. The food is delicious and they serve a good portion. We loved their sandwich, which was a triple layered with Mayo and vegetables. Highly recommending this place if you are in Manipal.

My visit to Basil Cafe was simply pleasant. The options on the menu are varied, decently priced and everything perfectly corresponds to the genre of the cafe- Italian. The food portions are satisfying and the taste is just - Mama Mia!
The staff is warm, super friendly and they are quite cooperative with our needs in customising dishes.
The Restaurant is located at a prime location, with good parking space.
Overall, it was a happy visit to Basil Cafe and I'm definitely looking forward to more visits here!
