Anand Alu Ki Kachori Lal Balti Wali

Been here for countless times. It's probably more than 10 years.
The timing are mostly in the evening and for limited period only. They've put literal Lal Balti (Red Bucket) with a light in it. Light on means it's open.
Here you get mainly Aaloo ki Kachori with Extremely Spicy Green chilly chutney.
So better watch out, but they sell water bottles also.
You can literally see the kachori in making, just infront of you. It's hygienic and soft as well as crispy.
There used to be sitting arrangement here also, but post covid it's just take away.
Still you can eat roadside though without any problem.

One of the best kachori you can eat in Indore, and the Chutney which is made of pure chillies makes it awesome, if you are in indore then do search for Lal Balti Kachori, it is quite famous in Indore and have several branches, they have limited supply , so it depends on your luck.

It's most yummy aloo kachori you will ever eat. Unlike others It has perfectly spiced stuffing . Their Chatny is the specialty, together it tastes awesome. They also keep Eco Friendly Lord Ganesha Pratimas before Ganpati Festival made with Pune Soil which are very beautiful and I am ordering it from them for last 3 years. Kachori is a must eat snake if you get a chance to visit the area. Shop opens in evening time generally and people keep waiting for hot kachoris all evening as they are sold as soon as they come out ready and then we wait for next lot :D I have eaten 6-7 at many a times and do not eat anything less then 2 on any visit.

Very spicy 😋🔥 chutney. The chutney was of green chilli. And that chutney had developed a very different, nice and spicy 🌶 taste in aloo ki kachori. I just enjoyed eating.

They are symbol of Indore rather pride of Indore. two branches one at rambagh and another in rajendranagar. if you eat their alu kachori with their unique chutney made with leaves and then green chilly -you will get tears in your eyes- do not worry , they have water bottles as many need them. but people come again and again and again only for that spicy......

due to corona it is a bit less rush now or else one is not sure whether they will get their kachori in that batch being fried or next! some times even 15,20 people will be waiting. Aha, it is worth it dear!

Excellent quality and test. Best kachori of Indore.
Price is bit higher but taste justify it. The chilli chutunny served along with make is awasome and mouth wattering. It is one of Indore's best snacks to world.

Anand ki kachori is old n famouse kachori centre in rajendra nagar which also called lal balti(litterally red bucket is hanging on road for landmark).

I am a big fan of this Kachori since my childhood. The kachori here is always hot, crispy and less spicy but the 'patented' Ranade chutney make it super food . No wonder, they don't sale chutney alone. No questions asked on why not.

Whenever I get a chance to pass thru Rajendra Nagar, I look for the 'red bucket' hanging outside this shop. That's the signal that Kachori is on sale. The bucket is put on at about 5 PM. This is one shop which sale limited stock per day and therefore shop closing time is uncertain( generally closes earlier that 8 PM). Once they are about to sale last few kachories, they remove the iconic 'red bucket'.

Kachori is fried in lots (of about 100 ) and one lot takes about 15 min to be fried. In the mean time people keep on pouring in shop and within 5 minutes the entire lot is sold and wait begins for next lot.

'The' Kachori, chutney and experience of eating there is just great. This shop is a family run businesses and runs traditionally. However there are some concerns:
1) Kachori is still served on pieces of news paper. May be the news paper is replaced by a paper plates soon.(but who cares....Taste buds wins)
Note: I last visited them in Dec-19 and noted that this has changed now and they have shifted to paper plates)
2) Don't feel bad if you are neglected by shopkeeper about your suggestions or have to hear some hard words if you leave the pieces of used news paper on bench (even by mistake). They just don't care about new idea and customers specially when it comes to left over news papers. (But who cares, taste buds still wins, just be cautious, don't throw/leave pieces of paper on/below benches).
3) Don't go there with expectation of eating in a restaurant. This is a tin shade shop along roadside with brick-stone benches. (Who cares, taste buds win here too).

The shop is closed on Monday.

This place is only for kachori lovers . But there's no parking space for 4 Wheelers other than that everything is fine, place is really clean and proper sitting Place and kachori is very Delicious I can say this is best Alu ki Kachori in Indore
