Very nice hut resort. A very good different experience. Enjoyed veg cuisine. Very tasty served with great affection. Elderly may find difficult to climb in. Also small kids may not get comfort zone

Situated approximately 20-30 minutes from the center of Majuli, this property is elevated on stilts. Our stay in the "Honeymoon suite" provided a splendid view of the Luit River and the surrounding fields. Due to its secluded location, a vehicle is necessary for commuting, as the property is set quite inside.

The interiors are tastefully done, creating a pleasant atmosphere. It's worth mentioning that, being in the countryside, smaller reptiles like lizards are to be expected. However, this is a common occurrence in such settings.

The highlight of our experience was the exceptional food, featuring delightful local Assamese delicacies. The service was commendable, and we highly recommend trying the local rice beer (apong) if the opportunity arises. The staff arranged for a bonfire, which proved to be a much-needed and enjoyable experience during the peak winter season. Hot water availability in the suite was also appreciated.

One aspect that could be improved is the quality of the mattress, as it fell short of expectations. Overall, our stay was memorable, with the picturesque setting, excellent cuisine, and thoughtful amenities making it a worthwhile experience.

Very amazing Experience in the resort . staff behaviour is so gentle, humble, and very friendly. Binod da has given is bike to travel and explore the beauty of majuli. If anyone go to majuli highly recommended resort . infact when I will go to majuli again I will stay there.

To enjoy the natural beauty near by the bank of the river Luit , the place is suitable for stay, the managing group is very respective .

It is an awesome place . I went during some painting festival was going on . The ambience is very peaceful . Its is good if you looking to organise some event over here . I ordered chicken and rice . The chicken was made local style with lemon leaves

Best hotel experience I had in India. The owner of the place, Mr. Koshik is a very interesting and knowledgeable person. The rooms are huge and clean. Hot water in shower. Great fresh food is served (although takes some time to make). They made delicious food that WASN'T SPICY AT ALL :)

An escape into Nature. Eco concept and everything is very well balanced. Everything is made of bamboo and natural materials. I just loved this place. Also, please don't expect modern amenities and luxury. Food is fresh and super ethnic.

Ambience of this resort is unmatched. A perfect place to detox our body & mind and go back fully rejuvenated. A heaven away from the stresses of a city dweller. Food is healthy as well as homely. Full marks to the owner Kaushik Nath. Wish him many more such enterprises.

Got recommendation to visit it from localite and so kept it in my bucket list. Visited in March and found it wow! The set up is made up of bamboo and located in the bank of tributary of Brahmaputra. You can just chill and relax the whole day sitting near river or in the cottage. I spent approx 4 hours there and will recommend it for family and friends outing. Food was average and don't expect exotic foods. Famous Mongeet festival also takes place in this location during Jan-Feb every year. So give this place a visit and you won't be disappointed.

Best resort to stay in World's largest river island. This resort is on the bedside of Brahmaputra river.
This Bamboo hut resort seems to be very ethnic from the exteriors but once you go inside the resort you will know the unique and rich interior. It has a most serene view of the mighty river Brahmaputra that gives a soothing experience. Everything about this place is mesmerizing! The tranquility it offers is beyond comparison. The place has a rustic charm to it and It is built with a lot of love. This is great for walks along the river with migratory birds .

Nice place. Natural beauty and migratory birds will fill your heart with joy. Ethnic food from missing kitchen is available here. People and staff of this resort is well trained and well behaved. Palace of peace and harmony in nature's lap. All communication is good. Only needed intercom in every cottage with the reception manager

The only place in majuli river Island you can stay. It's located right near to the banks of river Brahmaputra. Very beautiful. The architecture of the Dekasang resort is awesome. The rooms are made of bamboo. Recommended for the tourist visiting Majuli river Island and planning to stay overnight. They also have very good service staffs. Overall a nice place.

Nice place to stay. Away from city life. Pure village life. Rooms spacious but very basic. You will feel close to nature. This place reminded me of my time when I was growing in a village. Off course a little costly. Food is just amazing, organic ingredients and tasty-cooked in traditional style. Owner and staff are friendly.

The food is awesomely mouthwatering - local delicacies prepared according to your taste.

Love this place. Great location, views and facility. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food was amazing! I stayed here as a part of the Royal Enfield Tour of North East with about 34 others. Really recommend it. My only suggestion is to have some signs from the main road, it was a little hard to find.
