Very very old branch. I examined the bank very keenly. It is not maintained that much good. Has a first floor which looks like a bhoot bungalow. I got terrified by looking the cockroaches. Bank needs to get renovated as soon as possible. It's the public sector bank but the maintenance is very very bad. Even the internal staff is not good at all.

The bank is rubbish, I applied for a debit card-
1) I didn't receive the card at my home address
2) I had to visit branch twice and take my card
3) My card was invalid for over 2-3 weeks, I had to visit the branch again to get the card activated
4) When I was trying to set in the pin at the ATM, I didn't receive OTP. I visited the branch again to get help for PIN and no one helped me.

Having a debit card is a very basic facility which Dibrugarh Indian Overseas Bank is unable to provide. Highly dissatisfied and agitated.

The lady at the front desk (wearing specks) was unwelcoming and spoke disrespectfully. The interaction lasted hardly 2 minutes and I could clearly sense an arrogant and biased attitude despite me politely asking a query... IOB should hire people with better cultural sensibilities...
