History of church- In 1855,29 November,a piece of property (7 bighas) was purchased by Capuchin Bishop. He then built a church in the campus and named as "Sacred Heart Church" after it was renamed as Queen of Apostles' Curch.

This church was established on November 29, 1855 as Sacred Heart Church in St. Michael's campus by Capuchin Bishop Athansius Zuber. This church was renamed and dedicated to Mother Mary the Queen of the Apostles in 1977 and rebuilt in 2009. It is a spacious church with beautiful domes. Peaceful atmosphere here is conducive for prayer. This is the largest Roman Catholic Church in Patna.

As a visitor, I could experience this place as a calm and quite. I was completely and extremely excited by seeing this church ' Queen of Apostles' Church. This is the Biggest and prominent Church in the diocese of Patna. This is the Church surrounded by some of the prominent and famous schools of Bihar State.

I was happy and amazed by visiting this church. So i can only say, any one can and visit. During any feast day, this church is packed of people. Some time not even found place to seat in the Church.

100 Years of legacy.

It is situated just in front of St. Michael's high school, Digha Ghat Patna 800011, only about half a km, west of Kurji more and 1km east from digha end of newly opened Atal path. This church is run by SOJ fathers and it is constructed only few years back.it has big compound church premises is big and beautiful.It also has a girls school named Hartman girls high school inside it's campus. People from different places visit this church specially during Christmas.
