If you ever find yourself near Chandigarh, check out Virasat-e-Khalsa in Anandpur Sahib. It's a huge museum with lots of parking and green spaces around. The building is really cool, covered in fantastic art and graffiti. It's super clean and well-kept. When you step inside, it's like "wow"! You get to learn about the history of Punjab and Sikhism – they even tell you stories. It's a must-visit place, and you'll leave with a better understanding of the area's rich heritage.

It's superbly huge. Very brilliant work of art and graffiti. Very neat and clean maintained.
However I feel the lighting inside is a little low to admire the wall beauty.

Virasat-e-Khalsa is amazing! 🏰✨ It's a peaceful and fascinating place with incredible art and history. When I walked into the museum, I was like, "Wow, the craftsmanship is mind-blowing!" It's the best spot to visit for a mix of cool facts and a calm vibe. Just a heads up, photography inside the museum is prohibited. Still, highly recommend! 👏🌟 #MustVisit #VirasatEKhalsa

It is considered as 8th wonder of the world . It was very good experience visiting here . It is a museum reflecting origin of sikhism and volunteers who took many steps for sikhism. It is not like other museums it was built different. There are different sound effects inside it with lighting. I consider it as best museum I visited till now. You must visit. Timing from 10 am to 4:30 pm . There is lot of space of parking.

What an amazing place to visit. Really well constructed and gives a good insight into Sikh history and also Punjabi culture. If you have kids in the family - definitely a must visit for them. On the day we visited I think the sound was down, as we did not get any headphones to listen to descriptions of items on display. Nonetheless we loved it and will bring back more family.

The museum showcases the Khalsa's heritage and its influence on Punjab's history and culture. It also provides insight into the events that led to the birth of Sikhism and the Khalsa Panth 500 years ago..

The place is an actual Virasat (rich inheritance) to the Sikh Faith and Humanity! Be assured to take your headphones and download the app to have an immersive experience. As you walk through each gallery, the app gives an overall perspective of what you are looking at taking Sikhs into the memory lane. And if you are not from the faith, that will be even more useful to get a sneak peak into rich Sikh heritage. Do note that it can take anywhere from 4-6 hours to wholeheartedly experience the place and the timings are 10a-4p with Mondays closed (pls confirm).
I plan to come back and spend more time exploring the galleries I couldn't on my last trip.

Excellent depiction of Sikh culture and religion. The depiction of Guru sahib's life, teachings and the battles fought between the Sikhs and the Mughals. Once you enter the museum you feel like you're living those moments again. A very nice experience.

Must Recommend! Virasat-e-Khalsa is a museum dedicated to the Sikh religion and its glorious history. The design of this museum resembles a fortress and is connected by a bridge from either side of the ravine. The smaller building, which is a complex situated on the west, comprises of a grand entrance plaza along with a library for research purposes.
