Summit Le Royal Hotel, Shimla

Very nice hotel, just 400 metres from ridge christ church. This hotel gives nice mesmerizing view as it is above Ridge. Anyone can walk easily to Ridge, and mall road from here.so location wise good hotel. Only point is if you come by car, they charge heavy money as car driver has to drive quite high slopes.

Hotel facilities and food is awesome, sumptuous tasty and clean. I used to have breakfast and dinner only here.
Rooms are nice, clean, pure wooden flooring, large rooms, from window you get valley view always.They also have a outside large balcony where tourists can sit and have sight seeing.

Price is costly though of this hotel, so better to book early.

Good place for stay. The attic rooms were cozy and comfortable with great view. However, the hotel did not have a lift. If you are staying with aged family members, then it’s good to opt for the rooms in the first floor. Otherwise, it’s just a walking distance from the Ridge.

The whole staff is very nice over here. I stayed for three days with my family and i had a fantastic experience.The staff was family like, the food quality and quantity is very good. Loved spending my holidays over here. Will recommend it to one and all.

I have been to shimla quite a few times and this was one of the best experiences so far in terms of stay.

The staff is absolutely amazing. You will for sure feel like you are staying at a place which feels like home. Special thanks to Chamel sir. He was helpful since the beginning. I was looking for a hotel to stay and even before I booked the hotel I called them and Chamel sir was nothing but polite, helpful and considerate. He even guided me in choosing the room. Once again I will say it was a 10/10 experience in every aspect.

Not sure why this hotel has less than 4 stars, its located very near at a walking distance from the Ridge and Mall Road... Rooms are spacious , neat and clean with enough ventilation , Hotel's restaurant also provides good food... Hotel staff is polite .... The only downside will be the steep uphill walk from the Ridge back to the Hotel which can be an issue for the elderly people. Otherwise I rate this property a 5 star, also pls keep your windows closed always as there are monkeys lurking around.

The location of this hotel is next to Mall Road. It just takes 10 mins to reach mall road of Shimla.

This was my 2nd stay at Summit Le Royale, Shimla after my first experience in 2019 and it was very pleasant and nice stay. Hotel rooms, premises, location etc. are very nice and clean. Staffs are very polite and professional. Dining hall is very clean and cozy. One will always want to stay in the dining hall longer than one could take time to finish their meal. It's really nice. Hotel management is so nice that they fix any issue without keeping the guest waiting. They react to any issue to fix in no time. I really liked my stay in Summit Le Royale and would like to opt more going forward. Also I Highly recommend this hotel to everyone. It deserves more Star.

Food quality was superb as and was very meeting my expectations.

You just need to climb a bit more from Mall raod not suggested for old age.

Car parking available but need special driver to take you to hotel parking as roads are very narrow.

I stayed with family for three nights. Very good hospitality and courteousness displayed by all the staff members, spacious and tidy rooms, good food. Take the Chota Shimla and St Bede’s college route to arrive.

One of the best stays. Hotel staff, chef everyone were so helpful. Food was really nice.Good location as well which is near by to few main places like Jakku temple, Mall road etc.

Day 1 (13.01.2024) warm welcome, nice rooms, polite staff, good room service, delicious dinner and perfect location.

Nice and quaint property just above the Christ church and DC bungalow. It has a fabulous view over the ridge and is located in very green and shady lane which goes to Jakhu temple.

Has a very prompt staff and service quality is adequate. Room size is big with sitting areas and multiple windows. The mattress on the bed though needs improvement. Food was also very homely and tasty unlike other hotels now serving same curry in all items with splash of food colour.

Only caveat is: This Hotel is for people who can walk uphill and enjoy the beauty of hills as we sweat climbing up. Also driveability wise the approach is from Navbahar chowk and jakhu temple road, so is bit narrow and can be uncomfortable to those not used to driving tight mountain roads.

Overall, great location which is just next to busy ridge area but at the same time quiet enough to enjoy the mountain solitude.

Nice hospitality and services especially the food must stay and feel your stay along with the beauty of shimla
