No words can describe the clarkes untill u visit ... location unbeatable rooms huge and food was good.

This is a beautiful place, easily accessible, well connected, good rooms and really great food. Had a chance encounter with Sous Chef Mr. Rajkumar Bhatia and we would converse daily then on. He was here from the nearby Oberoi Cecil. Suggested his recommendations and it was spot on. Also helped us with sight seeing recommendations. Multi talented for sure. This has been a consistent experience with every staff member in this hotel, everyone makes you feel welcome everytime they see you. This elevated our overall experience over the past few days.

Amazing hotel. Had a great stay. The only issue is the stairs from the Carpark to the hotel. Not friendly for elderly, kids or wheelchair

Loved the entire experience. Felt very royal. The 120-year-old property has been very well- maintained. Excellent location, amazing hospitality, prompt room service, super helpful staff, and not-to-forget the excellent breakfast buffet. We can’t wait to come back here again.

All the staff without exception have been trained such high standards. We felt overwhelmed with their attentive service and caring attitude. They tried helping me to sort out my mobile phone, made recommendations for exploring Shimla and the Mall Road, gave advice on taxis prices, supply hot water bottles at night.
Our luggage was carried up several flights of stairs and we were welcomed with a delightful warm ginger/lemon drink. Breakfast was fantastic with all the usual buffet options, fresh cafetiere coffee and attentive waiting staff. Absolutely worth 750 rps plus tax.
Cocktails in the bar made perfectly.
We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend fabulous heritage hotel. Thank you to all the staff and management.

It’s such a Royal experience to stay in a 200 year old vintage property. Although they do not have Morden facilities such as lifts and pools as they do not have the authority to make changes in the infrastructure .
The room that we stayed in was so amazing! And the best part of the stay was the breakfast. Loved the food , hospitality and overall service.

So welcoming. We stayed for 4 nights amidst early monsoon. Everyone was really friendly and helpful particularly Subhash, Rajinder, Dani and Meha in the restaurant. The food was excellent and,location is right amongst the bustle of the Mall. A lovely hotel.

The oberoi hospitality is unparalleled, right from our check-in to our check out. Everything was fantastic ! The entire crew was very, very helpful , we loved our stay so much , and we decided to extend our stay by a day.

Also , the suite room is pretty decent in size and somehow just feels like home 🏡

A real taste of heritage luxury with a blend of modern touch. The staff is amazingly cooperative and nice. The property offers a safe and indoor car parking amidst busy street and roads of the Shimla. The property is located at the Mall Road and church is in walking distance from the property. The place is very calm and they serve amazingly cooked dishes.

Oberoi hotel can never let you down when it comes to service. Everything was properly taken care of. We ordered hot milk and it was delivered in no time. The reception, the housekeeping, in room dining all were very courteous.
Hotel is old but doesn't make you feel that way. Everything was awesome. Location is also very handy. Right on Mall road near some nice cafes. The ridge is a 5min walk.

Well, i will recommend this place for perfect vacation. Entire hotel staff are amazing and warm, top notch customer service.
The rooms gives you a homely vibe.

Service and team were incredible. This is a special hotel and I understand how Oberoi has gone on to the successes it has since opening this as their first hotel many moons ago. Strongly recommend to stay here if you visit Shimla.

Just wow. We just returned from Clarke's. This property is managed by Oberoi group. The rooms are the cleanest I have seen so far. The heritage property right on Mall road offers great rooms and the staff are such a nice people. We enjoyed the stay here with our family. The only drawback is that it doesn't offer Shimla valley view in rooms (although it is visible from the outdoor restaurant). It had the view in the past but the new High court building blocks it now. But that didn't disappoint us, the staff with their courteous behavior and cleaning personnel who are thorough and caring and the location on mall road - all made up for the loss of view. I would love to revisit again with my family.

Great location to stay , courteous and helful staff. Good breakfast and food both local and western. The hotel building is a heritage building and you can feel the history of over 100 years in the architecture. Some hinderence to elderly and physically challenged people as no cars are allowed on the road leading to the hotel entrance but alternative available contact the hotel. The hotel located along the famous mall road of Shima where lots of food outlets and shopping including branded goods. Great place to stay.

Absolutely splendid service all around. From the rooms to the food. Initially we were meant to stay in one of the smaller rooms where dinner was not included, but because of an unexpected event we were given dinner for free for the entire stay. Food was top tier and it tasted amazing from Italian to North Indian food. Chef Achman personally took care of our food and was very generous with us during our stay. Dhani was also very caring and treated us very kindly. Rest of the staff were also extremely kind and helpful during our stay and if definitely recommend staying here!
