Honey Hut - Shimla

Loved the place...the ambience was quite nice. The staff was quite courteous too. Music playing was nice. It's located at the main mall road. There is ample sitting space inside and on the outside too. There is variety of drink and food items available as well as some beauty products too, all made of the richness of honey. A beautiful place to eat out. Must try!

Visited this cozy cafe on Mall Road in the evening. True to its name, honey takes center stage in the cuisine. The staff was cool and friendly, and the music enhanced the dining experience. Spotted some folks playing chess at a table. The food was exceptionally delicious; I tried the Honey Cafe Latte and Honey Cheese Butter Sandwich, both amazing.

Such a great find! Really nice vibe, decor and ambiance inside, and they even put the test match on for me so I could watch us getting thrashed by the Indians again.
Delicious food, really friendly, and you can see the place is super clean and hygienic. Highly recommend if you're in Shimla and you want some coffee and food.

1) The staff was incredibly friendly and warm. That alone added an extra star to this review.
2) Food and coffee tasted great.
3) The ambience is lovely and offers a decent view of nearby hills. As the place has a lot of windows and natural light, i recommend visiting it during the day. Preferably morning or evening.

Slight critique: The Pizza had a lot of mayonnaise on top, I personally did not like it.

Restaurant is situated at the mall road which is absolutely pleasant. All the items which they have Honey is present in that and that is of good quality. I was surprised seeing less ratings. Honey was provided separately so that you can add it as per your taste buds. Restaurant staff's behaviour was good and the food presentation was also great.I would definitely recommend Honey Hut.

Honey Hut is situated at the center of the Mall road just alongside Khadi Emporium. They have consistently improved their quality and taste over the years and have fabulous service to date. I have tried many options from them but my absolute favourites are the Kashmiri Kahwa, Pineapple Upside Down cake, Blueberry Cheesecake, Banoffee Slice, Cappuccino and Mocha Frappe. The cake slices all taste heavenly and are always fresh. The coffees and teas are good and everything is served with a jar of honey on the table. The staff is sweet and very courteous. The space is quite small and limited tables are available. It's a perfect definition of a cute cozy cafe. Seating area is also available outside which gives a beautiful view of the mall road. The price range is average, similar to what you would pay at any other cafe / coffee shop.

Definitely try their in house lip balms which are incredibly moisturizing and made of beeswax.

One of the best eateries and coffee cafe in Shimla. Situated on mall road in a quaint little corner with yellow interiors leaves you relaxed moment you walk inside. The staff is ever smiling and also allowed our pet as we sat outside and had our food. The trademark honey filled coffees and deserts are to die for. The pasta is my all time favourite here. I will surely recommend this place to everyone who is visiting Shimla’s mall road and wants to relax.

Hands down the cosiest place among all the hassle on mall road. Such good people who run it. Do try their Apple pie for sure.

Everything you eat is delicious and can be accompanied by awesum coffee.
Donuts are extraordinary and so are the french fries.
Very nominal prices for all items.

A pretty café in an old Raj-era structure, the Honey Hut has beautiful teal walls with a white ceiling and wooden flooring. There's an outdoor seating area with cast-iron garden furniture, great for people-watching as the crowds stroll on the Mall Road, that runs past the café. I preferred sitting by the window inside with expensive views of the beautiful Shimla hills in the morning light. I ordered apple pie with icecream. Honey is offered gratis with every dish. The apple pie was fresh and delicious! The honey was like the icing on the cake! Absolutely genuine and organic, as befits a café that sources organic honey from a non-profit working to supplement farmer incomes through beekeeping. I couldn't resist ordering a Blueberry Crumble. I'd never seen one before. It was best not ordered. The cake doesn't have much of blueberries and is fluffy and eggless. I'd to lubricate it with honey to down it. I'd definitely recommend the apple pie with icecream, and the good value hot and cold drinks in this charming café with friendly, chatty staff.

Great experience and warm people would definitely visit again! Tried a burger and the saffron milk here, both were excellent in taste and generous in quantity. The cafe has a sit out adjoining the mall road or a view overlooking the valley which is a beautiful place to watch the sunset and capture a timelapse.

Great little place. They have limited seating capacity here. Most of there offerings are made of Honey, which is quite evident from there name. Tried Creamy Red Pasta along with Iced Honey Coffee and Honey Mint Mojito. Coffee was okay okay, but rest everything was good. A bit on pricier side, wrt quantity of servings. Still, do visit when you are nearby Mall road.

SOY milk coffee and VEGAN blueberry muffin! This cafe is cute with nice seating in and outdoors: we visited three times whilst in Shimla! The cold soy milk coffee is delicious and so is the warm muffin. Nice staff too

Probably the best cafe in mall road Shimla. They have a relatively small set up, aesthetically designed for indoor and outdoor seating.
As the name suggest they have variety of food items based on honey and they serve really good coffee. Irish coffee, iced cappuccino, apple pie are the must try ones.
They also offer small ra ge of gift items based on coffee concept like a souvenir. Courteous, well behaved staffs who are prompt into service. Apart from tourists lot of localities can also be seen inside which establishes their credibility and quality of food. It's pure veg cafe.

One of the finest cafe in Shimla. It is located on Shimla mall road and has inner and outer seating. It is a pure veg cafe with mountain view from inside and mall road view from outer seating. If you are planning to visit Shimla, this must be in your bucket list. You must try their Pineaple upside down cake, white sauce pasta, almond milk cappuccino and honey ginger tea. The best part of the cafe is their service. They serve you with a smile and are always there to help you.

This one is quite a distinct cafe in Shimla, with a warm & cosy interiors. They also have a good place to sit outside, which is almost on the Mall Road. The quality of food & snacks is good, and the taste as well as treatment of eatables is also quite different from other cafes. Overall, a good place to hang out with friends. Recommended.

A small but nice place to enjoy Coffee, Pizza & Dessert. They have indoor sitting as well as outdoor sitting for a small group. One can enjoy good food & spend pleasant time with friends.

I have tried almost all the hype cafés in Shimla but Honey hut is my favourite one. I have visited this place quite several times and my favourite is Honey butter toast, Cappuccino and Pasta. The frappe was not as good as expected.

The interior is super cosy. They have indoor and outdoor sitting arrangements and for mountain views, indoor sitting would be the right choice.

Loved the ambience of the place. Staff is very poliet and helpful. Anf their collection of honey is the best I have tasted so fsr. I wish they had stores across India.
