The Oaktree House a Luxury boutique hotel in Shimla

Great location just a km from auckland tunnel. 15 minutes drive from the mall. Very comfortable rooms with great decor and valley view from private balcony. Food was very delicious. Limited menu as its a small hotel. But everything available on order. Chef is a talented guy . The staff was very courteous. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good hotel with valley view, great location and amazing food

Strategically located with well furnished rooms having balcony overlooking the valley. Highly cooperative staff and homely food. The stay was most refreshing and memorable for my family. Loved every bit of it. Thanks to the staff and management for unforgettable stay.

So planned for a short trip to shimla and planned to stay here. What i wanted was serene, clean and clutterfree environment but not too far away from mall road. This property is spot on. Just 1.5 kms from mall road, lovely valley view, fantastic homely menu, clean rooms and most imp, its the silence! This boutique hotel is THE place to head to if you are a couple or a small family. Totally appreciate the efforts of the staff which made our stay comfortable and memorable. Thankyou!

By far the best service I have ever seen. I fell ill during my stay and the entire hotel staff as well as the owner went out of their way to help me and make me comfortable.
The room and food are both excellent. The rooms come with a brilliant view of the valley and the overall property is located conveniently away from the all noise and pollution of the main mall street.
Will be visiting Shimla again only if I can get a room here.

A fantastic little boutique hotel ideally located away from the hustle and bustle of the mall road and yet not that far away from it. Our suite had a lovely view of the valley and was very well appointed.
We had a very good stay, all the staff were very hospitable, special mention to Dalip ji who made our stay very comfortable. The manager Mr. Varun was also very helpful.
The booking process was handled very well by Mr. Gera who addressed all our requirements.

If you’re in Shimla, try to find an accommodation away from the mall road so that you stay away from all the chaos and you can also enjoy the natural beauty of this place. The location of The Oaktree House perfectly justify with this point. We directly booked this property through Mr. Varun, and we are thankful to him for providing us the best suit even when we called at the very last minute.Rooms were tidy and had best amenities that you get in a 5 star hotel like Radisson.

Food is delicious, enjoy breakfast at dining table rather than in your room. U even have option to enjoy your coffee at balcony in dining room(in case you don’t get balcony room) . I would love to stay here again with my family.

Location of the proper Is excellent - 2kms away from the crowded mall road. Great variety of lip smacking food. The rooms were extremely neat and with great amenities. Special shout-out to Mr. Bhagatram, great hospitality and very dedicated towards his duties. Wish to visit again!

It is coming from a person who has stayed in almost all 5-7 star hotels, no doubt they were all great experiences. But here the difference is personalization, the kind of personalized service , such respectful staff members, and their USP is the food. The food is too too yumm. I specially called the chef and tried learning some recipes. I ordered things that weren't there in the menu, they made it specially for us and tasty as well. The location is great, just a km away from Mall road. The views from the property are also very very nice.

It’s been 3-4 times now that I have stayed at Oaktree and every time it was wonderful.

The place is very positive and you would definitely like to spend more time.

Hotel is very good. Hygienic property, staff is supportive and polite. Food is also good. Location is bit far from Mall road. Otherwise it is perfect stay for family, friends or couple.

Brilliant hotel, away from the city, yet quite near to get anything you need for your comfort. Service is amazing, special shout out to Bhagat Ram, who made our stay as comfortable as possible.

The room has everything you’d need for your stay and the balcony opens to mesmerising views. The food is delicious and for the 3 days that we’d stayed, we were served different breakfast options for each meal.

Hotel is small and beautiful. The rooms are decent and it has value for money. Hotel staffs are very courteous and responsive. I needed small cell for my Oxy meter and they provided in just 5 minutes in the night. They were kind enough to upgrade my room without my request. The room size was decent with all amenities of 4 star hotel. Balcony view of Oak tree was just awesome. Room service was quick and efficient. Food was excellent at reasonable price. Full marks to Hotel management. Reaching here could be little tricky as you may take a wrong route and hence you must contact hotel as you proceed for it. Best wishes.

First and foremost, I would like to highlight the top notch service provided by the hotel staff. Tipped the staff just because of his politeness, attentiveness, and just overall positive vibes. Kudos!
Secondly, the rooms - Everything you could possibly need during your stay, is already available in your room. Never needed to order extras or request missing items (like in most hotels).
Next is the tastefully decorated rooms, corridors, restaurant, even bonfire area. Very beautiful.
Rooms were clean, cozy and comfortable with peaceful and serene view from balcony. Adding some non-edited photos from the balcony.

The only complaint was food and especially tea. Could be better. It wasn't worth the money.

You name anything it is excellent here. Stay was pleasant and most comfortable. Room is excellent and you have all required materials in the room . Owner has decorated the room to fulfil all your room . Staffs are courteous and always at your service to help you. Beautiful location with valley view.
