We stayed on this property for two nights. The sunset & night view was breathtaking from our valley view room window. Hospitality was great, very testy good food, cordial staff & specious room made our stay relaxing & beautiful. Room service & house keeping available here. It is the best resort of Shimla where private parking facility available. Mr. Kiranji also arranged a package tour to Manali for us, which we enjoyed a lot. Thanks to the management. Highly recommended hotel Dhroov... want to stay again.

Very rarely you come across such hotels, where the staff is too polite, excellent ambience, spacious rooms and the most important, food. Delicious food is guaranteed in this hotel.. Superb view from the rooms, very neat and tidy washrooms.. just 15 minutes away from mall Road that too bcoz of the geography of the place, otherwise it is not even 300 meters from Mall Road.. What else you wish to have !

We went to Shimla for an IV in Feb 2019. We had a really great time at this hotel. Everything is amazing, I want to be here, whenever I will visit Shimla again.

I was here with my school and friends as a school trip. And the facilities here were Fantastic. Hotel staff is soft spoken and friendly. The meals we were provided with were literally the best meal we had. Also the view from hotel room is so calming and pleasing. They provide you with 24-7 WiFi. Incase of any problem we can easily contact at reception. This all was amazing and a big thanks to HOTEL DHROOV .

I didn't stay here. The 5 stars is for the receptionist who helped me and my son earlier today to catch a taxi. We came in from the road and asked for help and he not only ordered us a taxi, he also had us served water and tea. That made a big difference to our day - "the betterment of the world can be accomplished by pure and goodly deeds".

The overall experience was great!

We went on trip just an year ago, in this hotel ,we stay for 3 days and everyone 's experience was good....

We checked into the hotel around noon and was pleasantly surprised with the large room size. Our room had a wonderful mountain view from the window. I must say the hotel, rooms and all amenities are brand new, clean and very well maintained and were very amongst most modern hotels in today’s time. The staff, facilities and overall experience at hotel Dhroov was very good and flawless. I would highly recommend the hotel to people traveling to Shimla. Look no further.

10 Min uphill walk to the Ridge.
It have good choice of food for the breakfast, has its own parking lot.

The hotel is conveniently located on circular road. When we were reaching Shimla, snowfall had started and we were able to reach the hotel and check in. Our cab was able to reach the hotel in snowfall.

Hotel provides electric heating tower, which stopped working on first night. House keeping were kind enough to answer 3 am call when the fuse was blown due to out mistake. They helped us to get back power and informed us that replacement heater will be available at 8:00 am when their maintenance staff checks in for work. They provided the same promptly and fixed wiring issue for heater.

We got valley view room, the scene was mesmerizing. We were not able to leave hotel due to continuous heavy snowfall. We had a train to catch in the morning but roads were icy. The distance from hotel to railway station is around 2 km and we were able to walk with our trekking shoes and catch the train. Thanks for the location.

Restaurant is very good. We loved amritsari Kulcha and Moong Dal ka halwa. Soups were good. Breakfast has lot of options. Restaurant provides heater during dine in.

We are amazed by the services provided. Apart from little heater issue, we didn't face any problem.

Our driver got proper parking place inside hotel while it was blizzard outside.

We were very lucky to book this hotel due to its location. Mall road at 10 min walking distance and railway station at 45 min walking distance. We were able to catch our connecting flight.

One of the premium hotel close to Mall Road (550 meter) with great ambience and warm hospitality.
Rooms are very spacious and well maintained with proper hygiene as well all safety measures being followed.
Food is also delicious with lots of variety. Special thanks to Mr. Gautam (Restaurant personal) for early morning breakfast services.
