I grew up in this neighbourhood, quite changed but more professional in managing the mosque to make comfort for people to pray and a little visit at aloon-alon of Semarang (the ancient of Semarang Square). This mosque is one of historical legendary icon in Semarang. The biggest legendary annual event, Dugderan is centralize here, since more than fifty years a go the "Aloon-aloon" Semarang is one the big square that many people came here besides going to Johar Market that is also one of the legendary ancient market even in South East Asia.

Semarang Central Mosque also know as Masjid Agung Jawa Tengah (MAJT) one of the most prominent building in Jawa Tengah. Here also the place of peace, quite, and religious place where Moeslim do the prayer in order to worship to the God.
