Me and my family goes for dinner on christmas eve to Kopi Tiam Oey. Pretty crowded. I think they updated the menu regularly. We order nasi bakar cakalang, nasi bakar cumi, spicy tuna spaghetti and roti panggang kaya. The drinks are jus kedongdong, ice lime tea and teh poci. I prefer nasi bakar cumi, though because the rice is more fragrant cooked inside the charred banana leaf. Nasi bakar cakalang is served in hot stoned bowl. Still good. As for the spicy tuna spaghetti is averaged taste. The drinks are not to sweet, if you like strong bitter tea then you should order tea poci. Served with rock sugar, it will warm your body. Kaya toast is moderate. Their portion is fit for 1 person serving. Maybe not enough for men, because they eat more.

I love this place. Good food and drinks. The taste is perfect: not so bold but also not plain. The athmodphere is also nice. Good place to just chill or hang out with friends.

Near mosque. Nice spot for meeting and chit-chat, great coffee with reasonable price. Quite popular in Jambi City.
