Interesting and educational tour on the pearl farming.

I’ve red previously about the process and was curious to see myself how it’s done in real.
We were followed by a guide to tell the story behind. Kids loved the oppurtunity to touch everything, as a part of learning.

Book your tour in advance, so they have enough time to prepare the oysters that are kept into the ocean nearby. I would suggest a private max several people group, so everyone could follow the mayor process in quality.

Our family loved the tour. It was something we didn’t have the oppotunity to see and learn on our journeys before.

A great experience! We started the tour with the aquaculture house, where the oysters are bred and larvae raised. The kids enjoyed hearing about the process of feeding and moving to he baby oysters to the ocean farm. We also got a live demonstration of how oysters are seeded and pearls harvested. To top it all off, for a fee, we got to choose an oyster, harvest it and keep the Pearl!! Awesome experience!

We went there to learn about pearl farms and we left the place knowing so much more about it. The tour, although a little bit expensive (180000rp), is totally worth it! Every step was of the process was explained to us and all our questions were answered by our guide fluent in English. Tour ended with the "surgeon" opening one of their mature oyster and extracting the pearl. Before we left, we had a taste of the oyster meat in the small restaurant on the water. I wasn't looking to buy pearls but I certainly recommend the tour!

A great place, not only to look around or buy pearl jewelry, we can also learn how pearls are formed, how the process of cultivating shells to produce pearls

I can only echo other reviews regarding this place. Although they also have a store, the focus is solely on the tour and educational. 100% recommended and you will learn a lot about pearl farm and all the steps to "artificial" create them

An amazing discovery of a place. Wonderful setting to see how pearls are cultivated. An eye opening and mesmerizing educational experience me and my family won't soon forget. We bought some lovely pearl pendants for the kids right after the tour... fantastic! Make sure you have an espresso on the gift shop's balcony overlooking the ocean to cap off your visit.

The tour is a must when you‘re in the area! We learnt so much about pearl farming, got a full tour of every single step of raising and harvesting oysters and had all questions answered.
Make sure to call in advance to arrange your tour (only a couple times a day).

The tour is really good! Really informative and great at answering questions. Really good as part of a day out! Brilliant informative guide.

Totally worth the money (180k). You'll get to see the tanks with the baby oysters, the different stadiums of the oysters and how a pearl is being made. Our guide had excellent knowledge and was able to answer all of our questions. Also the parking lot is secured so your scooter is save.

Incredible selection, and genuinely beautiful examples. Staff are top notch and went beyond their basic duties to help, eventually providing an item outside of normal business hours and allowing card payments. Highly recommend!

Place to get high quality salt water pearls

I learned so much about pearls that I never knew before, and my guide knew the answers to all my questions. Cost 180K rupiah per person and minimum of 2 people, took about an hour and they literally showed us Oyster surgery how to make the pearls, I really loved it.

A comprehensive pearl education if you are interested in pearls and need to know more about it. From hatchery, culturing, to understanding pearl value. If you need branded pearl jeweleries, this is the place. The show room is classy with exotic background of Teluk Nare. Staffs are friendly

Like this place...take 30 minuTes from my hotel (sheraton)...good education for my kids and of course for me as well...they taught me how the pearls made from the scratch...but you must pay IDR 180,000/person to get this...the other good thing was you will learn how to differentiate between the fake pearl/the original one...but overall I enjoyed it!
