YiSan Coffee Shop

My family and I visited this coffee shop during our third time traveling to Indonesia. This coffee shop is a gem in this city. The shake and smoothy are great choice for non-coffee drinkers. The manual brew coffee is a great way to experience the fantastic of Indonesia coffee.

My first step into this YiSan coffee, really gave me a distinct vibes.

Chinese trinkets here and there and the good gesture showed by the barista gave me a welcoming feeling.

As I inspecting every side of this place, some storages filled with some types of coffee beans placed on the main table. At my very first trial, I gave the papandayan coffee bean a try.

It was totally different kind of coffee, tasted so unique, felt like having a ground peanut and coffee at the same time. In short, I took my second shot to enjoy the halu honey. The barista suggested me to serve it in Japanese, and sadly i cannot describe the taste because I rarely have a coffee served in Japanese method. I guess i have to enjoy it in v60 next time. But it was a good coffee to enjoy while having a talk to the barista.

I fond of this place and will surely visit this place in the near future 👌

Found this coffeeshop while strolling around the Pecinan area, for me it's such a hidden gem. The place was quite cozy, really nice to stay there for a while. The coffee is more than great and the price is affordable. I tried the Capuccino Brulee, the owner said it's their most favorite menu. And don't bother to have some conversations with the owner, he and his wife are so friendly and they also told me some of the best local food around Semarang. Definitely worth to try if you ever visiting Pecinan area in Semarang.

One of the great coffee shop at semawis semarang. Great manual brew, great barista, awesome vibes. Order v60nand very recommended drinks here. Love it

The coffee was amazing. The place is priceless. It’s furniture are authentic and owned by the family since 19 centuries. A very recommended places when you visit Semarang, the coffee are just a medium for you to get the information about Semarang. We ordered manual brewed coffee (which is very good), chocolate (old school dark chocolate) , iced tea (classic tea, the smells the taste) all the things are amazingly as good as we expected. Would re-visit when we go to Semarang

I ordered Vanilla Milkshakes there, and its totally good.
The staffs are really nice, and so does its place.

They had vast choices of coffee beans. You can have a chat and short lesson about different coffee beans. The baristas were always so friendly and didn't hesitate to engage you in chit-chat. What I love about this place so much is the ambience. They didn't play loud music and tended to play their music in a lower volume. The price was affordable.

A very cozy, trendy stylish yet a bit retro cafe interior. The barista and owner are very friendly. The coffee is definitely the most recommended order. They taste great and is quite affordable. Totally a perfect place to hangout and have a cup of coffee with some snacks. The place is located right after the gate of the china town.

Amazing place 10/10. You can spend your day in this place and you won't feel bored. The baristas are very friendly too! It's also near Semawis Food Fest, so it's a very strategic place. The baristas are also flexible, you can request how do you want your coffee. Basically it's a place you must visit in Semarang!! Godspeed.

This is a place to relax, listen to some chillin music, and off course....another coffee won't kill you ... Beware : nice and freshly brewed coffee inside.....

Just steps away from the busy traditional market. Great ambience, good atmosphere. Friendly barrista. The right place for hangout with friends, alone while surfing in the internet.

Reason why i recommend this , i love cofffee but im not tolerance with acid from coffee ask barista and he will recommend kind coffee you need.im satisfies with their recommend. Must try so far i try coffee this first store give good advices.
