This is an amazing place with a beautiful park and interesting exhibitions. The agro museum with interactive activities is perfect for kids. The peaceful and charming park is an ideal weekend getaway. The staff in the museums is friendly and helpful. The only drawback that I can think of is that I did not know about this place before!

Lovely, well - maintained park with museums.
You can buy a ticket for the park only, or park + Beethoven exhibition, or park + agricultural exhibition, or all included.
We decided to visit Beethoven rooms and the park. Small interactive museum. The park is very nice. You can walk around, sit on benches, explore rare tree species and enjoy crossing on bridges while having the castle view.
We spent 3 hours here. We liked our visit.

My favorite destination in Hungary, I've been here twice, and the manager in Beethoven museum he knows a lot! And he is gentle, kind and warm-hearted.
I love the lake and the view, I will definitely visit again soon.

Wonderful park, nice environment, although the castle itself is less grandiose than the pictures suggest, but that is not necessarily a bad thing.

We went to a Beethoven concert held in the park of Brunszvik Castle. Ticket prices are reasonable. The location, outside in a forest, stunning and the quality of musicians outstanding.

We caught a train from Budapest's Déli Pályaudvar station to Martonvásár. The castle is a very pleasant ten minute walk from the station. Once the concert finished we had plenty of time to get back to the station and catch our train back to Budapest.

This place is magical indifferent of which season are you visiting it. You can easily find yourself lost in the huge park and your imagination which can take you back to the time of great balls of the aristocracy.
Alongside the walking paths you can find informational boards about the history of the castle and also about the park's plants.
Don't miss to visit the island in the heart of the lake and give an imaginary hug to the lion which keeps the castle safe.
I would recommend to take a book with you or take a lovely person for a walk here.

A very nice place.
Beautiful castle with huge park.
The castle can’t be visited unluckilly (only the small museum), but the park is good enough to spend 1-2 hours.

Now known as Beethoven Múzeum. It is located in Martonvásár, Hungary. Has the exhibited works and piano of the late artist Ludwig van Beethoven. I found the secret letters addressed to his secret lover interesting.

The palace is a museum devoted mostly to Beethoven and his relationship to the family. It hints at the possibility of one of the sisters of the famous kindergarten founder had an affair and a child with Beethoven, while trying to explore the secret letters found in his drawer after his death. The timeline interactive panel is fascinating. I finally managed to place together some historical facts that have never been taught together. Another highlight is the beautiful park.

It's a beautiful castle surrounded by even more beautiful park. This is all located in a peaceful town called Martonvásár where Ludwig van Beethoven once stayed and wrote "Für Elise", one of his most popular compositions. This is why there is also Beethoven's museum here.
The castle (and the town, of course) is easily accessible, just a few kilometers from the M6 motorway, so it's a perfect place to stop and rest if you happen to travel through this area.
