Really nice place to stay surrounded by a lot of nature and their host are very friendly and helpful, the campground it's enough for campervan and they also have some "bungalows" that looks like paradise stops. We highly recommend this place.

Lovely place to stay, very calm, animals all around, non-materialistic, nature friendly atmosphere. Great natural compost toilet and outdoor barrel shower. Amazingly tasty dinner and rich breakfast is definitely worth having.

We stayed here over night when coming back from Romania to the Czech Republic because it seemed to be just in the middle. The owners were not at home, but there was a welcoming sign at the gate. We were also welcomed by a beautiful white horse and a young cute deer when we drove in. We built a tent and waited 30 minutes for owners to come. They are very friendly. We were served delicious red wine and enjoyed a pleasant evening chatting with them.

The place is exceptionally cozy and calm. You will get very close with the nature. The camp is quite well equipped. However, do not expect to find wifi here. On the other hand, you can use the owner's computer for some small money if needed. You can taste some produce they grow by themselves. We just wanted to find a place where to sleep over night, but we got much more. It was great a experience.

The Chy-Kara Farm / Campsite is a really nice, quiet and peaceful place in the nature. Everything - from the earthhouse, the bell tent, the small caravan to the bathroom, the outdoor-shower and the outdoor-kitchen is made authentic and with a lot of love to details. To stay at the farm is a great experience, thanks to the cool animals and most important because of the hosts Annemieke and Jay. They are really warm and friendly hosts which go out of there way to make your stay nice and special. After five days we felt more like friends than guests. Thank you again.

The owners were really kind, open and helpful. The place itself is all built by themselves with a lot of Love and passion. There is a little outside kitchen and a barbecue where you can cook. The outdoor shower is very refreshing in the Morning and fits to the natural spirit of this hidden place! Total recomendation!

Very unique place! We arrived quite late at night, they had prepared everything for our tent. You can feel nature all around. Read the comments about the toilet before you go.

Beautiful place, lovely nature and animals. The owner was really nice even though we arrived near midnight. Price 7€ per person is reasonable and there is an ATM in village nearby. We stayed only for 1 night but we will definitly come back :)

We did not want to leave the retreat. We drove away rested and relaxed after a one of a kind experience. We have traveled all over Europe and this was a weekend to treasure! We will return again some day!

We stayed with Jay and Annemiek for the night. We slept in a traditional cottage, it was really comfortable and lovely built. The dinner and breakfast that we got was delicious. Their openess and friendliness made us feel completely welcome. Would definately advise you to visit them

A little piece of heaven. Went there on my euro cycling trip. Quiet place to rest after a long day on the saddle. Friendly hosts, unique rustic atmosphere and clear starry sky.

Auf der Rückreise von Rumänien suchten wir einen Platz für eine gemütliche Übernachtung zum Abschluss unseres Urlaubes….gesucht & gefunden wurde dieses wunderschöne Idyll mitten in der Puszta Ungarns. Jay & Annemieka sind dabei sich hier einen Traum zu erfüllen und gestalten liebevoll einen Platz mitten im Nichts, und das ist nicht negativ gemeint! Die Beiden haben uns sehr freundlich aufgenommen, abends waren wir zusammen mit den Hunden spazieren und anschließend saßen wir bis tief in die Nacht mit den Beiden zusammen. Hier kann man durchaus länger als nur eine Nacht verbringen. Tag und Nacht ist der Ort hier sehr ruhig gelegen. Die Zufahrt führte uns fernab einer normalen Straße über sehr gut befahrbare Feldwege. Weitab vom Trubel findet man dann die CHY-KARA. Es gibt hier eine Komposttoilette. Diese ist sehr sauber und riecht eben auch nicht. Es gibt eine vollwertige Außenküche und auch eine Freilanddusche. Wenn man Hunger und Durst hat, finden Jay und Annemieka dafür auch eine Lösung, und das zu einem wirklich bezahlbaren bzw. günstigen Preis. Das Zelt und die Hütte welche man mieten kann wenn man kein Bett dabei hat, sind auch sehr schick eingerichtet. Daher ist die Bezeichnung „Campingplatz“ viel zu einfach für das komplexe Angebot. Sollte man mit einem etwas größerem Gefährt anreisen, wäre es hilfreich vorher anzurufen, dann wird man entsprechend über eine größere Einfahrt gelotst. Die Betreiber sprechen Ungarisch, Holländisch, Deutsch und Englisch(mehr ist mir nicht bekannt).

Sehr idyllischer kleiner Campingplatz mit den nettesten Besitzern, die man sich vorstellen kann. Mitten auf dem Land, extrem ruhig - perfekt als Transit Übernachtung oder auch um für ein paar Tage mal das Stress-Level runterzubringen. Der Platz ist sehr liebevoll und detailliert gestaltet und man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Man fühlt sich ein bisschen, wie in eine Astrid Lindgren Geschichte hineinversetzt. Ein echter Geheimtipp.
